Dance Intensive
Tuesday 27th October
10am - 3pm
Ages 12+
£35 each, bookable via www.bookwhen.com/desire2danceworkshop

This dance intensive day will involve multiple dance lessons including Ballet, Jazz/Commercial, Lyrical, strengthening and more. There will be a short break between each class for students to change in to relevant dance clothes for the genre as well as to have a little rest.

Dancers must have experience in at least one genre to attend. A timetable of the order of classes will be sent out closer to the event so dancers can prepare their dance bag accordingly.

This is for Ages 12+ and non-students are welcome to attend as long as they have dance experience and permission from their dance school.

A Decade of Desire - 4th October 2026 💜

A little message from me to you all ✨
I’m so proud of every single cast member, thank you for making this whole show a success and for bringing all my ideas to life. You were all such stars on and off the stage this weekend and made my job so easy ✨

Thank you to all the chaperones who volunteered across the weekend and made sure everyone was in the right place at the right time (whilst I boogied in the wings). It wouldn’t have been possible without any of you. A special shoutout to Hope who was a top star runner, thank you for sharing this experience with me.

Thank you also to everyone else who played a part in the behind the scenes making/storing costumes, music editing (our finale song is pretty epic if I say so myself - thank you James!), the chequer mead staff and all the other jobs which helped me out massively.

Also thanks to;
My parents for their continuous support since day one, who I know were so proud today + my sister, who although is currently away travelling made sure she still celebrated me and my school and was cheering me on from Uganda.

Finally to Ben, who puts up with all my stress but makes all the visuals and design of our school so fabulous. It is because of him we have such strong and powerful branding. He also may have had some input with songs and choreography for today.

My nanna would have been looking down and been so proud of today - thank you for allowing me to dedicate some time to her in both shows 🪽

I would say I’m going to put my feet up and rest, but we are back to classes tomorrow. The rest can come in half term. I have so many lovely gifts to go through but from the bottom of my heart - thank you!

I have loved sharing today with every member of the Desire2Dance family. Thank you for putting your trust and faith in me.

Desire2Dance is 10! 😱💜
Today we celebrate a whole decade since we opened our doors for the first time and what better way to celebrate than spending the day in the theatre with my dance family performing ‘A Decade of Desire’.

On the 4th October 2016 we officially opened, with just 15 students - one of which has danced with us for the whole decade and we will recognise in today’s show. In the 10 years we have grown massively, won numerous awards and created a truly nurturing and friendly school that I am so proud of.

This journey started when I was just 19, and to have achieved all of this before turning 30 – including concepting and planning a whole show single handedly (but with incredible support from my family, Ben and all of the parents and students of the school) – really does feel like a dream.

Thank you for believing in me and supporting Desire2Dance for 10 whole years. Here is to another Decade of Desire 💜
