✨GCSE Results Day 2026 Message
To everyone who achieved the grades you needed and to those who even surprised yourselves with higher than expected results — congratulations🎉 You earned this through hard work, resilience, and commitment. I am proud of you.
For those who faced disappointment today, please take time to process your emotions. You have worked hard, you have grown, and you have made progress from the moment you began your GCSE journey. Many of you improved from mocks to finals, some climbed whole grade boundaries and others made remarkable progress across multiple attempts.
This academic year I have supported a wide range of learners: high‑achieving students, pupils working at grades 2–3, neurodivergent young people with EHCP, mature learners with different learning needs. Every step forward counts, no matter how big or small.
If your results weren’t what you hoped for, remember you still have options: request your exam scripts, consider a remark, re‑sit in November, switch to Functional skills maths or try again next summer. Everyone’s path is different and everyone moves at their own pace.
Whatever today brought, you should credit yourself for the hard work and I am genuinely impressed all of you.
All the best for your next steps!
