🎉🕺 Leavers' Disco Fun! 💃🎉

What a fantastic evening we had at our Leavers' Disco! The children had an amazing time dancing, singing, and celebrating together.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the event such a success. Your support is greatly appreciated and helped create a fun and memorable evening for all.
A very special thank you to James for being our brilliant DJ with an excellent selection of music! 🎶🎧
We hope the children enjoyed their final disco with us as much as we enjoyed celebrating with them. Wishing you all a lovely summer break. See you back in September.

Such a fun afternoon with the Dragonflies. We introduced Micro:bits and the children jumped straight into coding their own digital name tags. From flashing hearts to scrolling names, every tag was unique and full of personality. Moments like these remind me how quickly young learners pick up new tech skills and run with them.

What an incredible day at the Bike Show!
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event — your energy, generosity, and enthusiasm made it something truly special.
This year’s show was organised by our amazing Wistanstow PTA to raise funds for both our school and the Air Ambulance, and we couldn’t be prouder.
Massive shout‑out to the PTA team and every single volunteer who helped behind the scenes, on the day, and everywhere in between. Events like this don’t happen without you — your hard work, time, and heart made all the difference.

What a fantastic Outdoor Learning session for our Dragonflies this week!🌲🔥
With Helen Jones leading the way, the children built mini fires, brewed their own mint tea, made popcorn that actually popped, and toasted marshmallows like pros.
Hands-on learning at its best — full of smiles, teamwork and the great outdoors.

Today, the Dragonflies stepped back in time and experienced a day in the life of a Victorian child!
The classroom was transformed as pupils arrived dressed in fantastic Victorian costumes and tried their hand at traditional lessons. From practicing neat handwriting on slates to tackling strict arithmetic, it was a day full of learning (and a little bit of shock at how different school was back then!).

We are so proud of how engaged and respectful the children were throughout the day—and their outfits were incredible!

Well done, Dragonflies, for an amazing Victorian Day!
