Just to let all parents/carers know that any items left behind at preschool have now all been collated outside the door to nursery on the community centre side.
This area can be accessed through the main doors into the community centre, through to the right and down to the end of the corridor.
Items will remain out for collection until Friday 8th May anything not collected by then will be taken to the charity shop or disposed of.

It is with great regret that we have to announce the immediate closure of the nursery due to ongoing staff shortages.

This has not been an easy decision, and we understand the impact this will have on our families. Unfortunately, despite every effort, we are no longer able to operate sustainably.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful local community for all the support, kindness, and trust you have shown us over the years. It has meant so much to be part of your children’s early years journeys.

We are truly grateful and will miss being a part of this community.

Good afternoon All

As I'm sure you're aware the Winter viruses are out in full force at the moment. Please consider carefully before sending your child into the setting when they are unwell. This helps us to curb the spread of these viruses and is in the best interest of your child.

We ask that any child prescribed antibiotics is absent from nursery for the first 48 hours of treatment this is to ensure that there are no adverse effects, as well as to give time for the medication to take effect.

Craven Arms Childcare and Pre-School have an opportunity for you to join our team as a:

Level 3 Pre-School Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a professional, passionate, caring and friendly team that offer play and learning opportunities to children aged from birth to 4 years.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Delivering a high standard of care and education
• Assisting in the planning and implementation of the EYFS curriculum
• Providing a high standard of parent/carer engagement and communication
• Attendance at staff meetings and training sessions

The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting and developing Pre-School children, experience of working in a child centred environment, be flexible and have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

We are currently looking for a LEVEL 3 childcare qualified member of staff who has a good knowledge of safeguarding. A current paediatric first aid certificate is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Hours: 30 hours per week with an immediate start, where possible

Salary: Minimum Wage

PRE-SCHOOL ASSISTANT
LEVEL 3 (Level 2 qualification considered)

We have an exciting opportunity to work with a professional, passionate, caring and friendly team offering play and learning opportunities to children from birth-4 years. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: working with the children delivering a high standard of care and education, assisting in planning and delivering of the EYFS, attendance at meetings and training sessions, key person duties.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in a child centred environment with a good understanding of the EYFS. All appointments are subject to satisfactory references and Enhanced Disclosure from the DBS. A level 3 qualification in childcare is desirable for this position but would consider a level 2 childcare qualified candidate, working towards a Level 3.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Hours: 37 per week
