I can't believe I haven't posted on here for so long. Life is busy and time flies!
*I am teaching Maths everyday at school still, now enjoying some higher level teaching with top sets who have been working towards Common Entrance 11+ exams and secondary school. My own children are going through the process too with Toby in Year 6 and Oliver in Year 5.
*I'm enjoying my weekly Maths Challenge Club where we develop confidence by investigating numbers, patterns and puzzles.
*We've had great results in our Primary Maths Challenge and our best placement yet in the Year 5 Maths Challenge at Christ's Hospital School.

I still believe that maths is truly all about confidence. If you would like some help for your children, I have now got availability at weekends. This can be face to face or online and timings can be flexible - I know how many things come up at weekends! Any questions, do feel free to message me!

Tutoring a little later in the day during these Easter holidays as one of my lovely pupils is on holiday in Barbados and they are 5 hours behind us!! I bet she is thrilled to be able to continue her maths lessons and I am happy to help!

Happy Maths Week everyone! A fab resource I’ve been trialling in lessons and even in my Zoom tuition sessions is the Numberfit times tables circuits. It’s worked especially well with small groups and children who benefit from a more physical approach to learning. I’d definitely recommend signing up for a free trial!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here. Life is busy but the teaching and tutoring continue and I’m still loving both. I’m Head of Maths now which is also very exciting! Being involved with maths teachers throughout the whole school is so inspiring and I continue to be interested in how we can help children enjoy the subject rather than fear it.

My Saturday morning tutoring sessions are still fully booked but I do have a waiting list and I’m happy to put you down for ad hoc Saturday sessions or school holiday ones.

Please note I tutor in my own home in Cranleigh, Surrey, or online.
