Mount Meru Expedition 2026! 🗻

This summer, 17 of our pupils took on an incredible challenge: climbing Mount Meru in Tanzania to 4,566m.

After five demanding days on the mountain, every member of the team reached the summit — an extraordinary achievement that tested their resilience, teamwork and determination.
The adventure continued with a safari in the Ngorongoro Crater and a visit to a Maasai community, making for an unforgettable experience in Tanzania.

Congratulations to the whole team on this fantastic achievement — and what a way to round off the summer before heading back to school next week!

A coaching relationship that continues long after Cranleigh. 🏏

Over the summer, Cricket coach Stuart Welch has been working with Old Cranleighan and current England squad member Ollie Pope, helping him prepare for the next stage of his red-ball season.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Ollie describes Stuart as a “top coach” and says he “probably knows my game as well as anyone”.

We’re incredibly lucky to have coaches like Stuart, whose passion and commitment help our pupils reach their full potential — at Cranleigh and beyond.

Meet Zoe — a familiar face on our stage! ✨

Zoe is one of our incredibly talented drama scholars, and she wowed audiences in ‘The Sound of Music’ at the New Wimbledon Theatre before returning to take on another leading role in our summer production of ‘SIX’ 👑🔥

Her talent, energy and passion light up every performance — we’re lucky to have talent like hers here at Cranleigh. 💙

It’s a joy to see Zoe, and so many of our pupils, growing in confidence and making the most of every opportunity to perform!
