When starting a new business, one of the biggest challenges many businesses face is sourcing the initial investment. The Cranfield University Seed Fund aims to provide early-stage capital to our students, alumni, staff, and businesses connected to Cranfield University.

SAGES were able to use the money they received from the Seed Fund to purchase essential equipment, bringing them a step closer to commercialisation.

Emily Taylor, CEO at SAGES, said:

"The Cranfield Seed Fund has been a game-changer for SAGES. Emerging from Cranfield's TAF programme, the Seed Fund support allowed us to acquire critical equipment, propelling our innovative dye project closer towards commercialisation. Beyond the funding, it symbolises validation and confidence in our business, and provides us with an invaluable network of expertise. We're extremely grateful for the support of Cranfield's Seed Fund and it will play an instrumental role in our journey, accelerating our path toward sustainability and success."
