Splash park and sand park fun during the hotter summer days with our other childminding friends 😍 and some farm exploration with the big and small furries. Such a lovely couple of days in the sun, laughing and playing. Some wonderful learning opportunities and lots of bravery ❤

We had a wonderful rainbow dance party for a beautiful little ladies last day! There was dance yoga, the floor is lava, musical statues, pass the parcel, water fun and ice cream creations in the garden followed up with Pizza making (and tasting) for lunch and cup cake making and decorating for dessert!!
A jam packed, hot day 🥵 But super fun!

Well we certainly had a busy few weeks! The littlest cheeki monkey accompanied me to a sports day to cheer on all of the children, we had a visit from a very kind policeman and sat in the car to see all of the buttons and hear the sirens, we met and made new friends and explored a few different parks together, we spotted aeroplanes, we watched the birds and other wildlife in a secret hidey hut and we had lots of picnics!! I also ran in a group egg and spoon race on another sports day 🙈 We didn't win but thought I'd include it anyway as an achievement! 🤣

A lot of my little monkeys are showing interest in transporting, movement and building at the moment, so some of my activities have been based around this over the last few weeks to allow for more natural exploring!
Within these activities we celebrated the Queens jubilee in style with our very own homemade crowns, necklaces and tiaras made from pasta, we attended a special play session with farm animals outside that we could pet and stroke, we went on an adventure which involved muddy puddles, bug hotels and exploring the dirt/sticks and play frames, we ran around soft play together and made new friends and we built castles from blocks, towers from lego and used our imaginations to build our very own train track and village!

Our adventures 🥰 We have had so much fun! We said hello to a new cheeki monkey and after a little settling in period, we started to make the most of the sunshine and the beautiful outdoors and playgroups on offer! We enjoyed lots of stories and books, lots of puzzles, we dressed up with our friends at another childminders setting and danced with bubbles until we were all danced out 💃🕺
We have made new friends, tried new foods and smelt new smells too!

Jubilee celebrations so far! We made the Queen in craft form and enjoyed making union Jack coloured cup cakes! They tasted delicious 😋 and whilst we waited for them to cook we enjoyed some free play and roleplay ❤

Last week we had a wonderful time exploring all things outside..with a few inside too 😊
We travelled to beautiful parks for a play, we fed the birds and went for a walk in the sunshine together finished with a picnic. We explored colours and matching, puzzles and books and got really really wet with water in the garden! We tried our hands at fishing and did some digging with our scoops and diggers in the sand. We played with bubbles and helped water the cheeki monkeys flowers, getting rk grips with the watering cans ❤
Later in the week we went to a farm where we saw and pet lots of cute and cuddly animals (and some bigger ones too!) and again explored the park areas and sand pits followed by a lovely picnic. We ran around in the soft play areas (the slide was our favourite), splashed in puddles with our wellies and also went to a brilliant music and movement group to get our singing and dancing fix!

Facepainting (we had a cat, shark, elsa and some hearts), a lovely walk and game of tag, exploeing signs of wildlife and nature, throwing stones into the stream and listening to them plop! A park trip and exercise opportunity and then a little treat to cool down after ❤
