Just a reminder we return to preschool tomorrow. The weather has turned cold so please make sure children are dressed appropriately and have coats for outside play.

Vacancy: Pre-school Manager – 36.5 hours a week, term time only

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, qualified to Level 3 or above Pre-school Manager to join our setting from January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education.

Key responsibilities:

• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide high quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to individual developmental needs.
• Build strong and positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Support and guide a small team of practitioners.
• Maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above qualification in early years/childcare.
• A good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
• Previous managerial experience or experience of being a deputy within an early years setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

You must be willing to work collaboratively within a small team, have excellent communication skills and able to work in partnership with parents. You must have a minimum of Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, knowledge/understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, and a good understanding of safeguarding children. If you feel you could help to create a happy and secure environment in which children can grow and develop as individuals, then please apply!
If you are successful, you will undergo a full DBS and background check.
The position is to start as soon as possible, and the hours will be Monday, 7:30am to 3:30pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8.30am-3.30pm and Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm, term time only.
