We’re hiring!

Woodpeckers Pre-School, based in Cranbrook, Kent requires an early year’s practitioner, qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

Start Date: September 2026 (or as soon as possible).

Hours:

Tuesday 8.15 - 4.15pm
Wednesday 8.15 - 1.15pm
Thursday 8.15 - 4.15pm
Friday 8.15am - 1.15pm.

Term Time Only (38 weeks per year).

A huge thank you to all the local businesses that supported the Woodpecker Easter Egg Hunt today. It was a fantastic success and, while we’re still confirming the final total, it looks like we’ve raised over £500.

Thank you as well to everyone who came along to take part in the hunt and bought raffle tickets — your support made the event such a great success! 🐣🍫

Farewell Drinks for Mandy 🥂

As many of you know, our wonderful Mandy will be moving on to a new chapter soon. She has been such a massive part of our children's lives, looking after so many of them (both past and present) with such incredible care and kindness.

To say a huge thank you and wish her the very best, we are hosting leaving drinks and would love for you to join us.

The Trustees are delighted to announce the appointment of Natalie Smith (Mo) as the new Manager of Woodpeckers Preschool.

Mo is already a valued member of the team, having joined Woodpeckers in January 2025.

Mo will start her role as our new Manager after Easter, at the start of Term 5, and will be working alongside Mandy during Term 4 to ensure a smooth handover.
