As we get ready for the new term, here is a friendly guide to keeping lunchtimes running smoothly for your children:

🍱 Log in to your account at app.swiftkitchen.co.uk. We recommend booking a full week in advance to keep your evening routines stress-free!

⏰ Please note our new requirement for this year - all meal orders must be placed by 9pm the evening before. Submitting before 9pm guarantees your child will receive their choice of a hot meal the next day.

🍽️ Children receiving Free School Meals need to have their choices ordered through the portal in the exact same way so their preferred lunch is cooked and ready.

❤️ Please remember to log any dietary needs or allergies in the Arbor parent portal. If you ever run into any trouble ordering, our friendly office team of Mrs Catt and Miss Larkin or Family Liaison Officer, Mrs Reynolds are always here to lend a hand!

Ahead of the new term starting next week, bookings for R-Kids Term 1 are now live on Arbor. As before, you can book for the full half-term or select individual dates - https://login.arbor.sc/

Places remain capped at 10 pupils per session, with the exception of R-Kids Bricks on Tuesdays, which has a maximum capacity of 15.

As part of our commitment to continually improving R-Kids Bricks, we have invested in Lego Spike - a fun add-on to the standard Lego offering which includes motors and sensors to really bring out your children's creativity!

Miss Drinkwater has put together a fantastic timetable of events for the term ahead (attached to this post). We kick off on Thursday with R-Kids Launchpad - an exciting adventure to start the new academic year!

We strongly encourage all families to take advantage of available government funding schemes. Full details are available in our new Family Support Leaflet for R-Kids, which you can download here: https://rolvenden.kent.sch.uk/about-us/family-support/.

As a general guide:

- Tax-Free Childcare: Working families can get 20% off childcare costs through the government scheme - https://beststartinlife.gov.uk/

- Universal Credit: Eligible families may be able to claim back up to 85% of their childcare directly through the Government Website.

As we gear up for another exciting year at Rolvenden, we want to make the step back into the school routine as smooth and easy for you as possible. We will be sharing information over the next week, but are starting today with key back to school dates!

📌 Tuesday 1st & Wednesday 2nd September: Staff Development Days (School closed to pupils)

📌 Thursday 3rd September: Oak, Willow, and Holly Classes return!

📌 Friday 4th September: Hazel Class starts!
