Sometimes you just have to sit back and be in awe of young learners🤩 I love a cross-curricula project, be it learning Spanish through the history👩🏫food🥘 music 🎼. This little 🇪🇸 superstar has blown my socks off with this little project. From script writing, video directing and editing and then subtitling (including learning how to put accents on which was, unexpectedly, a highlight for her!) she did it all! 🙌
Her brief was that her script and video had to include the new vocab we'd learnt about the town and locations 🏫 use weather phrases 🌦️from our last topic and, as always, she had to give her opinions... With a little guidance and my support and video skills 🎬(which, on more than one occasion (!) may have required her to do multiple takes😜) a 10 week project has resulted in a spectacular video showcasing not only her linguistic talent but her media skills too.
To say that I am proud of what she has achieved is an understatement🥰 With permission from her parents I am sharing this edited version of the (7 minute!) video she created to act as inspiration for other learners out there - regardless of age, just what you can do!💪
