Megan Hedley Childminding

Hi, my name is Megan.
I'm very excited to introduce my new business, Megan Hedley Childminding!😊

Here’s a little bit about me, I’m 22 years old, and I have been working with children since I was 16. I started off coaching sports within a primary school setting which led me to achieve my level 1 football and level 2 multi sports coaching qualification. I then went on to go to University and studied a sports coaching degree and then completed my teacher training which means I am now a qualified teacher. Along side studying I also set up my own business, MH Sports Coaching, which was very successful in the summer. It’s safe to say I have plenty of experience working with children and I’m looking forward for my new business venture to start!

My mam is a very successful childminder who has recently just moved to a farm in Blyth to childmind within that area. At the farm there are cows, horses and pigs and a park within the garden. The children will have regular visits to the farm and will be able to play with the other children there.

I will be working from 7:30am to 18:00pm, Monday - Friday, term time and school holidays and will do drop offs and pick ups for school children at Shanklea Primary School. I will be accepting all funded placements and government schemes.

Hi everyone! I’m very excited to announce my new business! I’m currently registering my business and hoping to be finished the registration period by June/July.

My mam has been a very successful childminder for 11 years and I have been her assistant for 4 years, I am excited to follow in her footsteps. I am also a newly qualified teacher, with a sports coaching degree.
