I had a great time delivering a music workshop this morning for the Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council get future ready event. Thanks to everyone who attended. I hope you found it useful 🙂

I am excited to finally announce that DMD Music School has partnered with Yamaha 🎵

Firstly, we will be offering the “Guitar Encounters” course (starting March/April). This will be a group class that follows a fully written and comprehensive curriculum that has been designed to take you from a beginner to an advanced player. This course is certified by Rockschool so you can also achieve a qualification by taking part in the lessons and is a unique/fun way to achieve your grades on guitar (if you want to). The studio will be fully equipped with Yamaha gear and there will be guitars and amplifiers for everyone to use during their lesson. The course will be taught by myself (Declan) and will be 1 hr long every week. I will be contacting people on the waiting list around beginning of March but if you would like your name down just send me a message. Group classes for other instruments will be added later on in the year.

Secondly, myself and Yamaha will be doing a music roadshow around selected primary and secondary schools later this year with the aim to get more people playing music.

There will be more news regarding the expansion of DMD Music School coming throughout the year so watch this space…….. Thank you all for the support. Without you none of this would be possible-Declan

As we finish up today for the Xmas break I’d just like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you to everyone for their support throughout the year. It really means a lot. We are closed from Wednesday 21st December and we reopen again Wednesday 4th January. See you all in 2023 🎉🎶

Odhran was one of my first students that came to me many years ago. He was one of the funniest, kindest and genuine people you would ever meet and a great friend. My thoughts are with his whole family. Any donations to this go fund me would be greatly appreciated.Thanks-Declan
