The Head Teachers of the 8 feeder primary schools appreciated the recent training Eileen provided for them at Charlene Secondary School. A very useful exercise for all involved and helps us understand the many challenges they face as Head Teachers in leading their schools within the limited resources they have available to them.

Delighted to have had Queens University researching the work Charlene's Project has been doing in the community around Charlene Secondary School and the 8 feeder primary schools. It is wonderful to hear from the community that the work we do is making a difference.
Additional 4 latrines for girls and 2 latrines for teachers recently completed at Charlene Secondary School. We are continuing to keep a focus on health improvement initiatives at school.

Beds for children in school in Uganda - £90 buys a bunk bed When we visited one of the primary schools in July the children were sleeping on the floor. WE WANT TO CHANGE THIS. Additionally with increasing numbers at Charlene Secondary School we need more bunk beds for the beginning of the 2025 school year.
The work has begun on the second Boys Boarding Block at Charlene Secondary School. Exciting - thanks to everyone who is making this possible.
