P7 enjoyed visits to Crumlin Road Gaol and Windsor Park Stadium today.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our former pupil, Ben Gillis.

Ben is fondly remembered by the school community as a diligent student who contributed to many areas of school life.

We extend our deepest sympathies and prayers to the family and wider family circle at this sad time.

Applications for a Primary One place for September 2023 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗻. If you will be applying for your child, there are a few things you need to do to prepare. ✍️

Families in receipt of Free School Meals are entitled to a School Holiday Food Grant Payment over the Christmas holidays.

A payment to cover 10 days will be made into bank accounts on Friday 23rd December. If we do not hold bank account details for you, a cheque will have been sent in the post on the 19th December.

The previously advised payment date of 21st December was incorrect. We sincerely apologise for this error and for any inconvenience this may have caused.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped in any way with our Jubilee Celebration today. Special thanks to Mr Chapman for the lorry as our stage, to St Marks Silver band for playing, to Keith Ratcliffe (IDoWeddingCars NI)the chauffeur of our very important guest, to Plantation Press Lisburn for the printing of tickets, to our wonderful kitchen staff for providing the lovely food, to all our staff and to all the grandparents/parents who joined us today.

A huge thank you to our pupils who did us all proud today. Those who got up on stage and those who watched and sang so beautifully. We are so thankful to be a part of such a wonderful community!

We’re getting ready to launch applications for Free School Meals and Uniform Grants for the School Year 2022/2023! Here’s what you need to do to make sure you’re ready to submit your application.

If you are in receipt of one of the following:

➡️ Income Related Employment and Support Allowance
➡️ Income Support
➡️ Income Based Jobseeker’s Allowance
➡️ Guarantee Element of State Pension Credit

You should request a Proof of Benefits letter now, by clicking here: https://secure.dwp.gov.uk/get-a-proof-of-benefit-letter/

It will take at least five days to be sent to you. Once you receive the letter keep it securely and then upload a copy of the letter when you apply for Free School Meals and Uniform Allowance.

Please note, if you are in receipt of Tax Credits or Universal Credit, you do not require this letter.

More information will follow in the coming weeks on the 2022/23 Free School Meals and Uniform Allowance applications.
