And preparations are well under way for our annual Lismore College Christmas Fair.

At this stage, we are looking for local businesses & crafters who would like to secure a stall and showcase their products.

🎁 There will also be a food hall, so if you are a local food business interested in having a slot, we would love to hear from you too! 🍰🌭☕️

Well done to the Lismore Students who play for the Clan na Gael CLG u16 team. The team were crowned u16 Division 1 League Champions this week.

Lismore College Reaches New Heights as A-Level Success Continues to Climb:

Lismore College is celebrating yet another landmark year of academic achievement, with this year’s A-level results showing a further 5% increase in top grades following last year’s record-breaking performance.

Building on a trajectory of sustained excellence, the school community is celebrating outstanding individual performances, including several students who achieved straight A* and A grades across all of their subjects.

This continued growth highlights the ambition, resilience, and academic dedication of Lismore’s students, as well as the strength of the college’s learning environment, where high expectations are matched by high levels of individual care and support.

Over 25 subjects were studied across both academic and vocational pathways, demonstrating the exceptional breadth and flexibility of the curriculum.

Principal, Mrs Shauna Lennon, warmly congratulated the students, noting that these results reflect a culture of continuous improvement across the college.

“Lismore College continues to thrive and reach new milestones,” said Mrs Lennon. “To follow last year’s exceptional performance with another 5% increase in top grades is a remarkable achievement. We are extremely proud of our students, particularly those who achieved straight A* and A grades through sheer hard work and determination.”

She added, “Our success is built on the dedication of our passionate teaching and support staff, who consistently go above and beyond for our young people. ‘Caring and Learning Together’ remains at the heart of everything we do.”

Mrs Lennon also expressed her gratitude to parents, carers, the Board of Governors, and the wider Lismore community for their ongoing support and partnership in helping students fulfil their potential.

As students now prepare to take their next steps into higher education, apprenticeships, and employment, Lismore College extends its warmest congratulations and best wishes for their future endeavours.

Celebrating Student Success:

Congratulations to the Lismore Girls who danced in the ‘4 Hand Céilí Competition’ at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann this week.

Emma & Aoife Duncan and Maebh Mc Carron, all from Lismore, along with Meabh Collins (St Ronans), secured 2nd place in the All Ireland 4 Hand Céilí Dancing Competition (12-15 age group).

This is an amazing achievement! Well done girls and congratulations to your dancing teacher, Aislinn.
