VOICES OF HOPE
Delighted to have helped with this project! Our school choir took part in the Voices of Hope charity concert in June 2022 and June 2023 to help raise money for those affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine. A total of £1700 was raised during both concerts!

Many thanks to the fantastic Anto and his excellent team of coaches (Ronan, Alex and Odhran) for delivering such a fantastic summer camp at the school this week. The children had so much fun learning new games and sports …as well as enjoying some delicious ice creams🍦along the way!

Louise will begin her role in September as a Trainee Solicitor in Belfast completing her qualifications at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at QUB. Today we celebrated excellent attendance. Congratulations to Aoife, Ada, Nadine, Ethan, Amelia, Thom, Henry, Molly, Saoirse, Lily, Orlagh, Maddie Rose, Cecilia, Holly, Sean and Blathnaid who had excellent attendance all year.
Special congratulations to James and Antoin who received awards for 100% attendance. Well done everyone.

HONOUR THE FAITH AWARDS
Today we welcomed members of the local branch of The Knights of Columbanus to school for their annual Honour the Faith awards.
All our P7s participated in this initiative and all demonstrated how they live their faith in their daily lives. We are very proud of all the P7 pupils.
Congratulations to Eimear who was presented with the school award and to Callum who was presented with a beautiful Belfast crystal award from the Knights.
Megan and Matthew were presented with the school award for participation.
Another proud day in Derrymore. 💙🙏

Thanks to all who donated pre loved uniforms to our free uniform shop. We are still collecting washed items which are still in good condition.
The Preloved Uniform Shop will be open on Thursday from 1.45 u til 3.30.

My Townland and Me Project
Congratulations again to Miss McKavanagh, Harry, Eva, Conor and Eimear. Lovely recognition for your hard work on this project. We are all super proud. Great to see our school and local area getting some great positive and well deserved publicity.

Feeling very proud. Our past pupil Cliodhna and former head girl of St Ronan’s was invited as guest speaker to the KS3 prize giving. Cliodhna is currently studying dentistry at Queens University Belfast. We see her here presenting prizes to some of our more recent past pupils, Emma, Jack, Erin and Mollyann. We love to keep up with what our pupils are doing after they have left us.
