Today marked Becky’s last day of the summer with us and I couldn’t let the day pass without acknowledging that this was her 4th summer working with us, along with all the extra time she has given us throughout the year. ❤️

Next week, Becky starts an exciting new chapter as a teacher and we genuinely couldn’t be more proud of her. 🥹🍎📚

Thank you for everything, Becky! For all your hard work, care, laughter and for being such a wonderful part of our team over the years.

We’re going to miss you, but we’re so excited to see all that you achieve! Wishing you the very best in your new adventure. ❤️

🌟 PART FUNDED PROGRAMME 🌟

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded funding to run our Part Funded Programme from 1st September 2026 – 26th March 2027! 🎉✨

This programme is delivered in conjunction with The Pathway Fund.

Our programme will run 3 mornings per week (9:00am – 11:45am), and you can choose the three days that best suit your family.

⭐ Wraparound care is also available should you require longer childcare hours.

To be eligible, you must:

🌎 Live in Gilford or the surrounding areas.
💙 Be a low-income family (proof of benefits, Universal Credit or other eligible support may be required).

🧦🎭 Friday: Making our very own sock puppets and putting on a fantastic puppet show!

🎶 Nina’s Notes Visit 🎶

Today we had a wonderful visit from Nina’s Notes and just look at how much the children enjoyed it! 🥰🎵

There was lots of singing, dancing, bubble fun, and lovely interactions. The children were joining in with big smiles and lots of enthusiasm! 🫧💃🎶

We're doing a special Thursday opening this week, 9.30am–11am, especially for Nina's Notes! 💛

Helena will be bringing her musical movement session to The Super City, followed by playtime for the little ones. 🎵🧸

⚠️ Pre-booking is essential for this session so we know numbers.

At the moment, bookings are very quiet, and we'd hate to have to cancel this special session if we don't have enough little ones booked in. 🥺

🦁 Zoo-Themed Sensory Tuff Tray 🐘

Our Waddler Room had lots of fun exploring their zoo sensory tuff tray! 🌿🐒🦓

The children enjoyed discovering the different textures, animals and materials through hands-on, sensory play. They were encouraged to explore, investigate and use their imaginations as they played.

A wonderful opportunity for our little waddlers to explore, learn and have fun! 💚

🦁 **Roar, Roar! Happy World Lion Day!** 🦁

Our babies and waddlers had lots of fun exploring a tasty, taste-safe tuff tray inspired by World Lion Day! 🌍🦁

The children enjoyed exploring the different textures and sounds, with the cornflakes making a lovely crunchy noise as they played. This sensory activity encouraged curiosity, exploration and the development of their senses while having lots of fun! 💛
