📚💛 A Fond Farewell from Cowes Primary School 💛📚

As the doors of our beloved school close for the final time, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to every pupil, parent, carer, teacher, and friend who has been part of our journey.

This school has been more than just a building – it's been a place of laughter, learning, friendship, and unforgettable memories. From first days to leavers’ assemblies, sports days to school plays – every moment has helped shape the special community we’ve built together.

Though we may be saying goodbye to the school, the spirit of Cowes Primary School will live on in the hearts of everyone who passed through its gates.

Our final Primary School Horticultural Show & Summer Fayre was a true celebration of everything that makes our school special 💛

From the sizzling Cook Off Competition and jaw-dropping fire eaters, to exotic animals, bouncy slides, and a parade of proud pooches in our dog show- the day was packed with smiles, laughter, and memories we'll cherish forever.🦮🐍

Huge thanks to Mrs Groves for organising, all our amazing staff, pupils and families for getting involved and making it such a special day. 🎉🎉

Reading 87% Achieved at standard (60% Greater depth)
Maths 93% Achieved at standard (27% greater depth)
Grammar, punctuation & spelling 80% Achieved at standard (27% Greater depth)
Writing 80% Achieved at standard (20% Greater depth)
Combined 73% Achieved at standard (13% Greater depth)

Reminder: Tomorrow is the deadline for all entry forms for our Horticultural Show to be handed in. Mrs Groves is very excited to start processing them all!

On our Show day (Thursday), the gates will be open as normal at 8.30am. All entry class items can be brought up to the show marquee to be set up ready for judging at 10am.

Just a quick reminder, it is our mufty day tomorrow for our Horticultural Show. Please could KS2 bring bottles in for the bottle tombola and could KS1 bring in sweets for the sweet tombola.
Mrs Groves has started receiving and processing entry forms. It would be lovely to see as many children as possible entering our show for the final time.
