Social Media House Rules - www.fife.gov.uk/HouseRules

Our social media channels feature a variety of information from our services and partners, keeping you informed and up to date with what's happening across Fife. We're here to help in any way that we can, and we will always aim to be supportive and respectful in our posts and any comments we respond to. We expect the same of all those contribu

ting to our page. We want our social media channels to be safe, healthy, and open places for discussion and the exchange of views and we have the following house rules to help support that.

- All users must comply with the social media platform's terms of use as well as our own terms of use
- We answer enquiries/messages as soon as possible within working hours
- We will remove, in whole or in part, posts that we feel are inappropriate – for example bullying or harassment - or discriminatory against any individual or group
- You are wholly responsible for any content you post including content you choose to share

We will remove messages (where function allows) and report and/or block users on our social media channels who post messages at us which we believe are:

- abusive or obscene
- deceptive or misleading
- in violation of any intellectual property rights, including copyright
- in violation of any law or regulation
- spam and off-topic content (persistent negative and/or abusive posts in which the aim is to provoke a response)
- promotional material, including links to external websites and promotions

Anyone repeatedly engaging with us using content or language which falls into the above categories will be blocked and/or reported to the associated social media platform. We will not tolerate or respond to abusive messages. We must always remain politically neutral on social media which is why council officers are unable to reply to, endorse or engage with, any content that is of a party political nature. Political issues can be discussed with local councillors.

As part of their Racing Around the World topic, P6 were delighted to welcome Hannah Chapman who is a racing driver and helmet designer to the class.

She came to talk to the children about her experiences driving in the Porsche and Mini series and the process of helmet design. The children asked lots of insightful and curious questions and the afternoon whizzed by!

Today P2 had lots of fun reflecting on the culture and traditions of some of our pupils here in Crossgates Primary, through our Eid celebration. 🎉🎉
We began with a pupil presentation which highlighted what Eid looks like in their family home followed by Eid activities, music, dancing, eating yummy traditional foods and receiving henna tattoos.
🎶 ✨🌙
Thank you to Hira Ali for your support in this event and providing all the pupils with delicious food!
Happy Eid!”

A huge thank you to Fife Young Carers, who joined us in school on Wednesday and Thursday to work with all of our classes. Our P5–7 pupils took part in Carer Jenga, while our P1–4 classes enjoyed a story session to help them learn what a young carer is and how they can be supported both in school and through Fife Young Carers.

Well done to our team!
