Cowdenbeath AfterSchool Club is based at Maxwell Centre

We currently collect children from Hill of Beath, St Brides Primary,Foulford Primary and Lumphinnans Primary School. We are Open from 3pm til 6pm term time and 8am til 6pm
mon-thur and 8 til 5pm on fridays during the school holidays. We offer high quality childcare and all staff are fully qualified and registered with the SSSC.

Here are some pictures of what we’ve been up to this week

🚶‍♀️ We also completed a sponsored mile walk everyday and will continue this next week

🍁REMINDERS FOR HOLIDAYS🍁

Hi Everyone,

Tomorrow is the first day of the October holiday programme- we can’t wait!!

Just a reminder that tomorrow is ‘bring your lunch anything but a lunch box’ The most creative entry will win a prize!🥪

Tomorrow we will also be starting our sponsored ‘walk a mile everyday’ for the duration of the holidays- we have sponsored sheets ready for the kids to take home and would appreciate if everyone helped us out.

The Holiday programme will run for the full two weeks in Beath High School
Monday to Thursday 8am-6pm
Friday 8am-5pm

Hi everyone,

We’re looking to build up our collection of loose parts and recycled materials at the after school club for the children to use in their play and creativity!

If you have any of the following items at home that you no longer need, we would really appreciate any donations:
🪵 Small pieces of wood or logs
📦 Cardboard boxes and tubes
🧵 Wool, string and ribbons
🧺 Baskets and containers
🥄 Wooden spoons and kitchen utensils
🧴 Clean, empty plastic containers
🪨 Large stones, pebbles or shells
🧱 Building materials
🛞 Large wheels or tyres
🌿 Natural materials such as pinecones and sticks
🎨 Any other safe, clean items you think the children could use creatively!

‼️IMPORTANT- INVOICES‼️

Hi Everyone,

All invoices for this month have been sent out to parents, if you haven’t received one please check your junk/ spam folder as we have been informed that some invoices have gone there.

You will notice on your invoice that it states to be paid by the last day of the month. We completely understand that things can happen so if you are having any difficulties with payment, please get in touch with us directly so we can discuss this with you.

Our club heavily relies on fees being paid on time in order for us to run things smoothly. These payments allow us to cover essential costs such as staff wages, snacks for the children, resources and the general running of the club.

🍁🎃OCTOBER HOLIDAY PROGRAMME🎃🍁

Hi Everyone,

Cannot believe it’s less than a month away until the October Holidays!

We will be running a Holiday programme for the full two weeks from Beath High School
Monday to Thursday 8am-6pm
Friday 8am-5pm

We will confirm the plans for the 15th shortly, this might be a trip day or we may have a visitor coming in which might mean additional charges.

Welcome Back!

A huge welcome back to all our children as we begin another fun year at After School Club after the summer break!
Can't wait to hear what you've all been upto over the Summer holidays.

A special welcome to all our new children and families—we're so excited to have you join us and can't wait to make lots of happy memories together.

To our previous children who are now starting high school, we wish you the very best of luck in your new adventure. Be confident, have fun, and enjoy this exciting new chapter—we're so proud of you!

Here's to a fantastic year ahead full of fun, friendship, and laughter!

Morning everyone
Hope you've had all enjoyed the rest off the holidays. Cant believe the 2 weeks have passed so quickly. Im going to open the diary today & start going through messages & get everyone booked in. Let us know if there are any changes to your days or you no longer need a space. Looking forward to seeing you all on Wednesday & hearing all about your holidays☀️🌝 xx

Just like that the summer holiday programme is finished!!!
It has been such a busy, fun filled 4 weeks🥳

We have enjoyed every minute of it and we hope the children have too, it has been great to welcome some new faces to the club whilst getting to spend some time with familiar ones too. We have watched new friendships flourish and lots of happy memories made which has been so lovely to see- included are some pictures from our summer party yesterday❤️

Our staff have worked hard and are now off for some well earned rest, we will return when the schools go back on Wednesday 19th August
any messages will be answered that week.

Just a reminder that all invoices have been sent out and these should be paid as soon as possible.

We hope all the children enjoy the rest of their holidays, we can’t wait to hear all about it when the schools return
