🐰 Lumphinnans Primary Parent Council Easter Decoration Competition 🐣​

Our Parent Council are delighted to invite pupils from Nursery to P7 to take part in our Easter Decoration Competition! Children can decorate an egg or an Easter bonnet at home and bring their creation into school.

All entries should be handed in first thing on Thursday 2nd April so that our judges have time to choose the winners.

There will be a prize for each class, so get creative and have fun! We can’t wait to see all the fantastic Easter designs. 🌸🎨

Remember to get your tickets to support this school event!

We continue our school improvement journey in maths and numeracy and
would like to invite our families to join us at a shared family learning event
which we hope will encourage you all to see the numeracy learning which
can be had in free and easy family games. Number recognition is a key
aspect of numeracy learning, as is being able to quickly recognise the dot
formation on a dice.

As a way of practising these skills we will be holding a 'Beetle Drive' and
'Bingo' event in school on Monday 2nd February at 3.15pm till 4pm. This
will be open to all but due to space restrictions numbers will be limited and
tickets will be issued on a first come first served basis. All children should be
accompanied by an adult and everyone attending will need a ticket. Entry
will be via the main reception at 3.15pm after children are collected from
school.

A Beetle Drive game is a fast-paced, dice-based drawing game where
players compete to be the first to draw a complete beetle. Each number on
the dice corresponds to a specific beetle body part — and you can only draw
the beetle in the correct order!

Because you constantly switch tables between rounds (in a “drive”), you end
up meeting everyone in the room and the game becomes incredibly lively
and competitive.

We will finish the event with a traditional game of bingo. There will be prizes
for winners!

Thank you to everyone who supported our Christmas Fayre! Between the Fayre, Raffle and Church Crafts we raised a total of £985.45. This money helps us support the school and organise fun experiences for the children.

The raffle was drawn on Monday 15th December and everyone who won a prize has been contacted. We’d like to thank the following people and businesses along with everyone else who donated a prize to our raffle, your supported is much appreciated.

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and we will see everyone in the New Year!

Christmas Fair today at 1.30!

Please use the school office entrance to sign your children out their classroom when you come and support the school and Parent Council.

Adults with no children can use the office and come straight to the Christmas Fayre!

We have external stalls, class stalls, tombola, cake and candy, tea and coffee, raffle and much more!

The more money we raise the more experiences we can support the school with.
