The tide was very high at Whitmore Bay, Barry Island because of the autumn equinox, so there wasn’t a lot of beach when we arrived for Beach School today. We learnt about tides, made some kites, searched for wood and treasures, built an impressive array of sand castles and experimented with a mote.
