📚💖 GIVE LIKE DOLLY DAY – TOMORROW! 💖📚

We have been contacted by The Dollywood Foundation and invited to take part in Give Like Dolly Day tomorrow, Friday 25 September! ✨

The day supports Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which helps children from birth to five access books of their very own. As stories, communication and developing a love of reading are such an important part of Early Years, we thought this would be a lovely cause for St Andrews to support. 📖❤️

👢💖 DRESS COUNTRY, SPARKLY OR PINK! 💖👢

Children and staff are invited to come to nursery wearing something:
✨ Country-inspired
💖 Pink
✨ Sparkly
👢 Or simply something they love!

There is no need to buy anything especially for the day and dressing up is completely optional.

📚 BRING A BOOK!

We would also love children to bring one of their favourite books from home to share with their friends. Please make sure your child's name is clearly written inside.

Throughout the day we'll be enjoying lots of stories and celebrating the joy of books together! 📚✨

We will also be fundraising for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, with a little nursery target of £26 – which could help provide one child with a new book every month for a whole year! Any donations are completely voluntary. ❤️

We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow! 💖👢📚✨

We have recieved another parent employee of the week nomination!

'Please can we nominate Shannon & Olivia for employees of the week. With our child's transition to the toddler room he’s really struggled at drop off but Olivia and Shannon always reassure us with quick updates after we leave.

It means the world to us to get these updates and know that he’s okay and settled. Thank you so much for doing everything you can to support us all! 💕💕

A huge well done to you both- it is lovely to see how hard you are working on supporting not just children but parents with transitions. Thank you for all of your hard work! :)

Today we have received a parent nomination for employee of the week:

We would really love to recognise Olivia for the support she has given our daughter and our family recently.

We’ve had a few things to work through over the last couple of weeks and Olivia has genuinely gone above and beyond. She has taken so much time to listen to us and really understand our child as the funny, energetic little person she is.

What has touched us most is how invested she has become in getting things right for her. As a parent, it means such a lot to know that someone is really thinking about your child and wants to work with you to understand what they need.

We’ve felt incredibly supported by Olivia recently and I really wanted that to be recognised. It’s clear how much she cares about our daughter and we’re very grateful to have her in her corner. ❤️

Olivia has been working incredibly hard to continue growing her knowledge and developing new skills. She is so invested in her own professional development and is always looking for opportunities to learn, improve and build her confidence, which is so lovely to see. 💛

Olivia genuinely cares so much about the children and is passionate about making a positive difference to their experiences at nursery. Her dedication, kindness and commitment really shine through in everything she does.

💜 The Incredible Years Parenting Programme is a 12-week programme, offering a friendly and supportive group environment where parents can learn practical parenting strategies.
The programme can support families with:
✨ Building stronger relationships with your child
✨ Improving communication and cooperation
✨ Building confidence in managing behaviour
✨ Supporting your child's emotional and social development
✨ Developing skills to help your child be ready for school.

🎉💐 Celebrating Katie’s 4-Year Anniversary! 💐🎉
Today we celebrated Katie’s 4-year anniversary at St Andrews Day Nursery! 🥳
Over the last four years, Katie has progressed from joining us as a Lunch Cover Supervisor, to becoming a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner, and she is now very close to completing her Level 3 qualification! 🌟
It has been so lovely to watch Katie grow and develop throughout her time with us. Her confidence has grown enormously, and she continues to develop into a fantastic practitioner.
Katie is a real credit to our nursery, and we are incredibly grateful for all of her hard work, dedication and the difference she makes to our children and nursery every single day. ❤️

💗✨ 7 YEARS OF SHANNON ✨💗

Yesterday marked 7 whole years of Shannon being part of our nursery family, and looking back over those 7 years makes us realise just how much life has happened along the way. 🥹

We’ve had the absolute pleasure of watching Shannon grow, both personally and professionally. We’ve watched her get married, welcome two beautiful children into the world, achieve her Level 2 qualification, and grow into the amazing practitioner she is today. 🤍

But amongst all those wonderful milestones, one thing that has remained the same is the love, care and dedication Shannon brings into nursery every single day.

Over the years, she has cared for so many little ones, watched them grow, celebrated their milestones and become such a special part of their early years. There really is something so special about being able to say we’ve watched not only our children grow, but Shannon grow alongside them too. 🥹🌸

Seven years is a huge milestone, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything you have achieved and the person you have become.

Thank you for 7 years of love, laughter, hard work, memories and being such a valued part of our nursery family. 💗

We’re looking for a lovely new person to come and join our team at St Andrews Day Nursery! 🥰🌈

We currently have an opportunity available for either a Qualified Early Years Practitioner or someone looking to begin their childcare career as an Apprentice. 💛

The position is for 40 hours per week, although we may be able to offer some flexibility for the right person.

We’re looking for someone who is caring, enthusiastic and passionate about giving children the very best start in life. Whether you already have experience within Early Years or you’re looking for an opportunity to learn, develop and gain your qualification, we’d love to hear from you! 🧸✨

All appointments will be subject to satisfactory references and a clear DBS check in line with our safer recruitment procedures.
