This afternoon 2C have spent time with their grown ups sharing their story retell of Pattan’s Pumpkin 🎃 it has been lovely for the children to show off all their hard work they are so proud of 🌟 well done 2C!

6A have been doing some research in English this week ready to write their non-chronological report all about the Himalayas next week📚

5B have done some excellent print works this afternoon, using carving tools and paint to obtain the desired outcome. Well done 5B!

4A have loved creating their final pieces in art today. They have worked really hard to create this piece inspired by Marten Jansen, using bright colours to show emotions and careful proportions of facial features.

THE BEST DAY AFTER. RA had the best day at the monkey forest. We saw so many monkeys

In English, 5A have been using commas to clarify meaning.

What a FANTASTIC day RB had yesterday at the Monkey Forrest! 🐒🌳
We showed our school values of courage, excellence and respect throughout the whole day and the staff felt so proud of all of the children for behaving SO well from start to finish!
We spotted so many monkeys in the wild, learnt lots of interesting facts and even managed to see a baby monkey that was only 4 days old!!! 🥰 We had lunch in a teepee and even had time to play on the playground! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to welcome The Happy Circus to our school. It was wonderful to see so many children, families and members of our community coming together for such a special event. The atmosphere under the Big Top was incredible, and the smiles, laughter and excitement throughout the evening made it a truly memorable occasion.

A special thank you must go to our amazing PTFA, who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes for many months to make this event happen. Their dedication, commitment and enthusiasm are simply outstanding. We would also like to thank all of our staff and volunteers who gave up their time to help set up, welcome guests, serve refreshments and ensure the evening ran smoothly.

Finally, thank you to our wonderful Hollyfast community for your continued support. Events like this not only create lasting memories for our children but also help raise valuable funds that directly benefit the school. We hope everyone had a magical evening and enjoyed every moment of the show! 🎭⭐🎪

RC had the most wonderful day today on their trip to The Monkey Forest. We learned all about where the monkeys live, what they eat, how they play and even talk how they talk to each other. Just a marvellous monkey kinda day! ❤️
