✨ An Exciting New Chapter, but the same IFP you know and love ✨

While the International Foundation Programme (IFP) remains the same, the department that delivers it has evolved. Formerly known as Warwick Foundation Studies, we are now Warwick Global Academy (WGA).

This change was officially marked at the Warwick Global Academy launch, where we were delighted to bring together Council members, colleagues, partners, students and alumni to celebrate this important milestone.

We were incredibly proud of our IFP students and Alumni, who shared their personal experiences of the International Foundation Programme and spoke about the lasting impact it has had on their academic and personal growth.

🌟This new name reflects our growing global ambition and our continued commitment to supporting international students as they prepare for success at Warwick and beyond.

✨ A very merry IFP Christmas! 🎄

Our students celebrated in true festive style at the Christmas Global Cafe with tree decorating, a fun quiz, Christmas crafts, board games, a cosy holiday film! Plus plenty of Christmassy snacks.

It was the perfect way to celebrate the end of the first term together! ✨

🇨🇳✨ From IFP alum to Warwick undergraduate - Kristine’s journey came full circle in China!

This September, Kristine supported Warwick’s 60th anniversary celebrations in Beijing - helping at the Open Days, meeting the Vice-Chancellor, faculty, and alumni, and sharing her own IFP story. 🌍💫

She described the experience as inspiring and a powerful reminder of Warwick’s global community.

🎉 Welcome Week is here! 🎉

Calling all new IFP students – we’ve got a week packed full of exciting events to help you settle in, make friends, and feel right at home. 🌍✨

Don't forget you can access and we encourage you to get involved in the wider Warwick Welcome events. This is a great opportunity to explore campus life, sign up for societies and sports clubs, and meet new people outside of the International Foundation programme.

We also recommend attending the international student welcome and settling-in sessions, which are designed to support you as you start your journey at Warwick.💙

🌏✨ Warwick in China ✨🌏

Our Head of Department, Professor Nina-Anne, is in China with Warwick’s 60th Anniversary delegation. Together with our China Liaison Manager, Cynthia, she’s been meeting future IFP students at the Shanghai Open Day and events. Their next stop is Beijing!
