Today marks the end of our wonderful 8 years at Shining Examples Pre-School 💔.
Words can not express the emotions we have felt today. The children have enjoyed a fantastic party filled with games, music and laughter. It has been a lovely day 🥰
We would like to express our thanks to our families and children for giving us a wonderful send off. We are overwhelmed by the cards, gifts, letters and kind words we have received and we are truly touched by your generosity.
We would also like to send our thanks to the community of Keresley Village for entrusting us to take care of your children in the years gone by. It has been an absolute pleasure to be part of your community and we wish each and everyone of you the very best for the future.
Carly, Michelle and Sehresh will be in Pre-School tomorrow and Friday if you have forgotten to collect anything or you would like to say a final goodbye.

This week we have been really busy as we had Kasenya, our professional photographer in capturing lovely images of your children.
The children enjoyed taking photographs of each other in our photo booth station. They have also taken great care making cards and cakes for Daddy on Sunday. We hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Earlier this week we shared the sad news with our families that Shining Examples Pre-School will be closing its doors permanently in July 😥
This difficult decision is unfortunately one that we had hoped we wouldn't have to make, however with the recent changes that have taken place at the centre along with a significant rise in rent, we have no alternative, as even after looking at different options, a small business like ours will not stay sustained.
The closure of our Pre-School is likely to impact many families as during the last 8 years we have worked tirelessly to provide the best possible service for our families and the community, working in partnership with other health professionals and agencies to ensure that every child that has attended our setting has received the best possible start to their education.
We are both devasted that it has come to an end. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all from the very bottom of our hearts for your continued support since we opened in 2016. We built our small business from scratch but we could not have done it without the support and encouragement from all of the families in the village and the wider community. We will cherish the time we've had at Shining Examples and miss it dearly.

Today is National Primary Offer Day and you will have received an email with your child's school place for September 2024. We hope you are all pleased with the schools you have been offered. Dear families,
As you may have seen in the recent press, Keresley Community Centre has new operators. Empowr-U is a non- profit making organisation that are keen to work with us, and other existing groups in the centre to implement lots of new ideas - with children, families and the wider community at the heart of their future plans.
As a preschool that has been serving families for the previous 8 years, we are very much looking forward to these exciting times ahead. May we take this opportunity to welcome them to the centre.
