🍂💚 What a fantastic week at St Bart’s! 💚🍂

There has been so much happening across school this week, with plenty to celebrate!

🍁 Autumn has arrived in Year 1, where the children have been busy creating some wonderful seasonal work. Their classroom windows look brilliant, filled with pumpkins, autumn leaves, woodland animals and fantastic examples of the children’s writing.

🐛 In Year 2, we’ve been celebrating some super learning inspired by Superworm, with children proudly displaying their writing for everyone to see. Come and have a read!

☕🍰 We also welcomed families into school for our Macmillan Coffee Morning. It was lovely to see so many members of our school community spending time together, enjoying a cuppa and some delicious cakes, all while supporting Macmillan Cancer Support. A huge thank you to everyone who donated, baked, helped out or came along. 💚

Another busy week full of learning, creativity and community — a perfect example of what it means to Believe, Belong and Become at St Bart’s. 🌟

🌟 Youth Club is a brilliant success! 🌟

What a fantastic first session we had at Youth Club tonight! The children had a great time relaxing with friends, playing games, trying their hand at pool, table football and darts, getting creative with crafts and enjoying lots of other activities. 🎯🎱⚽🎨

We also got busy in the kitchen making some delicious cornflake cakes, followed by pizza for a snack! 🍫🍕 There were plenty of smiles, laughter and some very competitive games along the way!

It was lovely to see the children enjoying themselves and spending time together outside of the school day. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make our first session such a success. We can’t wait for the next one! 🙌✨

🎲🧸 Can you help our new St Bart’s Youth Club? 🧸🎲

We’re really excited to be starting a new Youth Club at St Bart’s and would love to build up a collection of toys, games and activities for the children to enjoy.

If you’re having a clear-out at home and have any good quality, clean and complete items that are no longer being used, we’d be very grateful for donations.

We’d especially welcome things like:

🧩 Board games and puzzles
🎮 Games and activities
🧸 Toys and dolls
🚗 Cars and small-world toys
🎨 Craft and creative activities
🃏 Card games
📚 Books and comics
🏗️ LEGO, construction sets and similar toys

Anything donated will be put to great use, helping us create a fun, welcoming space where the children can relax, play, socialise and enjoy spending time together.

If you have something you think might be suitable, please drop it into school or get in touch with us.

Thank you, as always, for supporting St Bart’s and our children. 💙

👑 A Very Special Delivery for Nursery! 👑

We were incredibly excited to receive a very special letter from Buckingham Palace this week!

The children of Belgrade Nursery had written some wonderful messages and created delightful pictures for King Charles III and even invited The King and Queen for tea! His Majesty was touched by their kindness and thoughtful invitation to a special tea party.

The children were amazed to see the royal envelope, the beautiful card, and the official letter from the Head of Royal Correspondence. What a memorable moment for our Nursery children!

We are so proud of the children for showing such kindness, creativity and thoughtfulness.

Believe • Belong • Become
A truly special memory for Belgrade Nursery at St Bartholomew’s. 👑✨

A short while ago we had some of our children in years 5 and 6 entered a 100 word story competition. We’re delighted to say that some of the entries submitted have been selected and will be published in a book of short stories. A huge well done to all of the children who submitted their work. We are very proud of your achievements and can’t wait to see your work in the book! 🎉🥳👏🙌📕
