Can we reach 100% attendance?

On Friday 9th October we're asking children (and staff) to join us for HERO Day. Children can dress as their favourite superhero, real life hero or a hero they have created as their own.

If we manage to reach 100% attendance, all children will receive a prize🎁

🌿St Mary's Church - Heritage Days🌿

St Mary's Church will be celebrating 900 years of history and welcome you all to come and explore.

A wonderful opportunity for children to delve into local history, as well as tower visits and bell ringing.

It's free for all and is happening this Saturday 12th September.

As we come close to the end of the school day, we want to thank all of our Staff, Pupils and Parents for yet another fantastic school year.

We hope you all have a wonderful Summer holiday, whatever you are up to.

We also want to say a huge well done & thank you to our Year 6 children for their hard work over the last few weeks, preparing for their unforgettable Greatest Showman performance, leavers assembly's and church services.

🌍Eco Conference 2026🌍

Children were invited to attend the Trust Eco Conference at St Mary's Coventry this week.

They met with other Eco Squads across the Trust, along with some special guests, to find out what other schools have been doing in their Eco Council as well as learning about practical climate action and biodiversity.

⭐The Greatest Showman⭐

Here's a sneak peak of our wonderful Year 6's rehearsing for their end of year production, The Greatest Showman.

The children are doing dress rehearsals today for our KS1 & KS2 children today, across the day.

We're really looking forward to opening the door for parent / carers to come and see them in action on our 2 up and coming performances:

Tuesday 7th July @ 1.45pm (doors open at 1:30pm)
Wednesday 8th July @ 6.00pm (doors open at 5:45pm)

Bottles of water and programme's will be on sale for £1.00 - cash only!

The children have worked extremely hard and we cannot wait for you to come and see for yourselves how amazing they all are.

🌱 What does it really mean to live our vision?

Last week, our whole school community came together for Living The Vision Day, a day dedicated to exploring what it means to grow together 🌱, learn together 📚, belong together 🤝 and be rooted in God's love 🌳.

Throughout the day, our children took part in activities that brought our vision to life. From planting seeds as a symbol of growth, to creating artwork that celebrates every individual within our community, every activity reflected what Together We Thrive means at Walsgrave.

We loved having the whole school working together on something so meaningful to our Walsgrave community!

We even got the whole school together to create a special visual at the end...
