Coventry University Aerospace Society

Hi Guys!

Some of you may have already had this via Email, however we've had a lot of new interest on the page in the past weeks and don't want anybody to miss out.

Just want to take this chance to invite everyone back for the year, and to also touch base with the freshers who are wanting to join the society, links for doing so will be at the end of the post.

I won't go into exact detail with regard to projects, that's what Teams is for, but the projects which are planned to go ahead this year are as follows:

- Harrier Flight Sim conversion

- The Rocket Project

- Arduino Drone Project

- BMFA (Still in discussion as to how this will be running)

If these projects sound like something you would be interested in taking part in then please don't hesitate to join, we welcome all disciplines of engineers, not just Aerospace.

Hi all hope everyone’s doing well, just wanted to let everyone know that there’s another FLIGHT SIM NIGHT!! It will be running on Thursday 20th February (week 5) 5pm-8pm at the ECB. This will be free for BOTH MEMBERS AND NONMEMBERS! 😱 So bring your friends along if they fancy a go.

First society meeting this week on Wednesday 1 pm in the basement of the engineering building. Also if you’re going or want to come on the PARIS TRIP you need to come along this week so we can go over details and sort things out.

Hi all,
There are still 7 places yet to be filled for the Paris Trip. Thanks to this being a society trip, you can apply for CGE funding which brings it down to £29!!!! (Thats £250 off!). Also the trip is from the 24th to 28th April.
This involves: all scheduled travel, 3 nights in a bed and breakfast, and visits to the Museum of Air and Space and the Musée Aéronautique et Spatial Safran. That’s cheaper than a pair of jeans at Topman for goodness sake!
