Update Regarding Incident at Bell Green

We would like to reassure all parents and members of our community regarding an incident that occurred yesterday at the Bell Green Hub.

A man had locked himself inside a room elsewhere within the Hub building, resulting in the Hub implementing its safety procedures while emergency services attended the situation. We would like to stress that at no point did the individual enter the nursery or have any contact with any of the children, staff, or families within our setting.

As a precaution, our team followed all appropriate safeguarding and lockdown procedures, and children remained safe and well throughout. Parents were informed of the situation, which was resolved within approximately 40 minutes.

We are incredibly proud of our staff for their professionalism and calm response, and we would like to thank parents for their understanding and cooperation during the incident.

The safety and wellbeing of our children will always remain our highest priority.

Bright Kids Bell Green

Our Discoverers have been getting hands on (and feet on!) exploring the textures today 🖐️ Using their whole bodies, the children discovered bumpy, smooth and slippy surfaces, experimenting with pressure to watch the colours mix and spin beneath them ✨

Our Investigators have been creating their very own rainbows and watching the magic as the colours blend and mix together 🎨 The results were absolutely gorgeous 🌈

We are so excited to announce that this summer term Our Investigators will be taking part in BilinguaSing🎶

Every Tuesday afternoon for 10 weeks, the children will enjoy a fun, interactive 30-minute session learning new songs and developing an early understanding of French! 🌟

What a wonderful opportunity for our little ones - bonjour to something brilliant! 🇫🇷

The children have been on the hunt for worms - pipe cleaner ones, hidden in the soil 🪱 Using tweezers to carefully pick out big and small worms, the children gave their fine motor skills a brilliant workout while exploring size and getting beautifully hands on with nature 🌱

Our Investigators have been playing Sound Bingo 🎵 The children listened carefully to each sound and worked together to match them on their boards, cheering and celebrating every win 🙌

Our little scientists have been getting curious with a brilliant STEM experiment - exploring the effects of water on flowers and watching the changes unfold 🌸

Our Explorers & Discoverers headed out on a beautiful spring nature walk 🌿🌸 The children explored the world around them using all of their senses - spotting signs of spring, collecting flowers and nature treasures and discovering so much more 🍃

To celebrate Earth Day we have been getting our hands in the soil and planting our very own sunflower seeds 🌱🌻 As we planted, we talked about caring for living things and what our seeds will need to grow… a little water, some sunshine and lots of love! ☀️💧
