It's Volunteers Week and we want to give a huge shout out of thanks to all our volunteers at The Weaver's House.
One thing that really stands out is our visitors comments book which is filled to the brim with positive comments for our volunteers.
And without all our volunteers we simply wouldn't be able to open the house and garden to the public for free.
From tour guides and experts in Weaver's House and garden history, to the gardeners, the bakers of the best cakes ever, the craft demonstrators, the trustees, the front of house folks and the and the behind the scenes support - we couldn't do any of this without of you!
Thank you 🙏
Our next open day is on Saturday 6th June.

Our May Open Day saw the launch of our new (olde) tea room. Over the past few years we have been serving our homemade cakes from a gazebo outside to use this room for storage but we have moved back into the tea room inside for this year and beyond. It was a lot of work so thank you to our volunteers!
It also provided the chance to show off some of our newly acquired collection of traditional irons.
It was a lovely sunny day so plenty of people took the opportunity to sit in the garden to enjoy the refreshments.
You can come and experience the house, garden (and the cake!) for yourself on our next Open Day on Saturday June 6th.
This is also the weekend of MotoFest Coventry – in previous years people have enjoyed the opportunity to pop out from the city centre and along Spon Street to enjoy the contrast of cars and heritage crafts!
