A reminder that there are no students in the academy as our staff take part in training and preparation for the Summer Term.

🌏✨ Culture Day at WMG Academy ✨🌏
Today, our academy came alive with the vibrant sights, sounds, and flavours of the world during Culture Day! Students and teachers proudly showcased their cultural heritage through traditional clothing, artifacts, and incredible performances.
Highlights included:
🎶 Cultural Performances – Amazing dance, music, and theatrical presentations wowed the audience at the end of the day.
🍽️ International Food Fair – Lunchtime was a feast with delicious dishes from around the globe.
👗 WMG Fashion Show – Students gathered in the Atrium to celebrate WMG Academy fashion and style.
📚 Tutor Group Activities – Students explored global cultures through creative posters and PowerPoints, learning from one another along the way.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed and participated, your enthusiasm made the day unforgettable. WMG Academy truly celebrated the rich diversity that makes our community so special! 🌟

🔬 As part of British Science Week, our Year 12 science students will hear from William Frempong from Johnson & Johnson on Tuesday about “How to Make a Medicine.” 💊
Year 10 Students took part in a Medical Innovation Lab, using this year’s theme of curiosity to step into the role of bioengineers and tackle a real-world medical challenge.
