Happy Halloween everyone!
We wanted to share the cupcakes that our Food Voyager Club decorated before the half term break. The cupcakes have been devoured by now but we thought the photos were great fun (and a bit spooky)! Have a great day and don't eat too many sweets!

Last week, the theatre was alive with as the entire Shells (Year 7) year group embarked on a mammoth project that has quickly become an annual tradition at Bablake School. Working closely with the entire team, the 90+ strong cast had only 4.5hrs to create, rehearse and perform a collaborative drama project based on the poignant theme of communication

Bablake theatre has been filled with energy once again this term as the cast of Les Misérables met in full for the initial script reading last week and the auditions continued this week for Shells. We look forward to what promises to be yet another fantastic musical theatre performance in February

Pupils acheived exceptional GCSE results yesterday! 54% of all grades were 8 or 9 (equivalent of A*s) and 74% were 7, 8 or 9 (equivalent of A*/A). 60 pupils achieved all grade 7s or above.
We could not be prouder of this year group, or more pleased for them. They have dealt with the extraordinary circumstances affecting their education with good grace and resilience, and they richly deserve these results.
Thanks to all staff and parents who have pulled together to support them during the last few interesting years. More details can be found on the school's website.

Yesterday, the recorded a temperature of 37.0C, breaking the 130 year record maximum temperature. It was 1.8C higher than the previous Coventry record of 35.2C.
The record may not last long though, expecting 39.0C today! We will see...

Erin (Lower Sixth) has earned the top Roentgenium Award as part of the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge C3L6 competition!
