🦖 Dino-mite Adventures This Week! 🦴🌋

Our little explorers had an incredible time diving into the world of dinosaurs! We became palaeontologists and created our very own fossils, searched for hidden dinosaurs, and even watched our volcano erupt in an exciting science experiment! 🌋✨

Through hands-on play and discovery, the children learned about fossils, prehistoric creatures, and the amazing forces that shaped our world. Their curiosity, teamwork, and excitement made every activity a roaring success!

☀️ Yesterday’s outdoor activity was led by the children’s curiosity and interests, giving them the freedom to explore, create, and discover through play 🌿✨

Using in-the-moment planning, we adapted the activity to meet the children’s individual needs and interests, following their ideas and encouraging hands-on learning through shapes, textures, and sensory exploration. Moments like these help build confidence, communication, and a genuine love for learning. 💚

🐝 Our little learners became busy bees while creating their very own bee hotels outdoors.

What may look like a simple, fun activity actually covered so many areas of our curriculum.

🛠️ Resilient Rangers – developing perseverance, problem solving and confidence while using real tools.

🤍 Wellbeing Warriors – building pride, independence and a sense of achievement through hands-on learning.

📏 Maths – exploring shape, space and measure as children selected, fitted and arranged different materials.

🌿 We were also supporting our local bee wildlife by creating safe spaces for pollinators to thrive.

Learning through play, curiosity and meaningful real-life experiences is what Early Learning Camp is all about.

Time to soak up the sunshine!

🔍✨ Today we became pattern detectives! The children loved exploring and creating repeating patterns using loose parts and natural materials. From colours and shapes to sounds and movement, we discovered patterns can be made in so many fun ways while building our numeracy, problem-solving and critical thinking skills! 🍃🪵🔴🔵
