Our pumpkins are absolutely thriving! 🎃🌱
We've been giving them lots of love and attention by watering them regularly and adding mulch around the plants. The mulch helps keep the soil moist, reduces weeds, and gives the pumpkins the best chance to grow big and healthy.
We've also been keeping a close eye on them every day, watching every little change. The leaves have grown huge, the vines have spread right across to where our onions were growing, and the most exciting part... we've finally spotted our very first little pumpkin! 🥹🎃
We can't wait to watch it grow into a big, round pumpkin over the coming weeks. It's amazing what a little care, patience, and nature can do! 💚

"Some chapters aren't written in books—they're written in moments like these." 📚💙
There is something so special about watching children share the joy of a story together. No rush—just curious minds, little smiles, and the magic that happens when one child invites another into a world of imagination.
These are the moments that remind us that literacy is about so much more than learning to read. It's about connection, kindness, confidence, and creating friendships one page at a time.
Every shared story helps build a lifelong love of books—and sometimes, a beautiful friendship too. ❤️

🫧 Bubbles, smiles, and outdoor learning!🌿☀️
Today we had so much fun making our own homemade bubble wands using sticks and pipe cleaners. The children loved creating their own wands before putting them to the test, filling the air with beautiful bubbles and lots of laughter!
We experimented with different-sized bubble wands big, medium, and small to see which ones made the biggest bubbles and which created lots of tiny ones. It was wonderful to explore, predict, and discover together while having so much fun.
At Forest School, it's not just about learning outdoors it's about exploring, creating, building confidence, and having fun too. Simple activities like this encourage creativity, problem-solving, curiosity, and imagination, all while enjoying the fresh air and the wonders of nature.
As the bubbles floated away, so did plenty of happy summer smiles! 🫧😊
"Summer smiles are like bubbles light, sparkling, and full of joy." ✨

🎨✨ Creating Masterpieces, One Brushstroke at a Time! ✨🎨
At The Early Learning Camp, every splash of paint tells a story, every colour sparks imagination, and every masterpiece builds confidence. 💖
Creative activities aren't just about making beautiful artwork—they help develop fine motor skills, encourage self-expression, inspire problem-solving, and allow little minds to explore the world around them in their own unique way.
Watching our little artists proudly create something all on their own reminds us that learning happens through play, curiosity, and creativity every single day. 🌈🖌️
Because every child is an artist... and every masterpiece starts with one brave brushstroke. 💕
📍 Come and discover a place where creativity, confidence, and imagination grow together.
One of the most valuable aspects of our gardening project has been the cultural capital it provides. By taking part in the complete seed-to-plate journey, our children are gaining real-life experiences that build on their understanding of the world in meaningful ways.
Growing, harvesting, washing, preparing, and tasting their own fruit and vegetables allows children to make important connections about where food comes from, how plants grow, and why caring for our environment matters. These hands-on experiences introduce rich new vocabulary, encourage curiosity, and help children develop respect for nature and healthy food choices.
For many children, opportunities to grow produce from seed and harvest it themselves may not happen outside of nursery. By providing these experiences, we are widening their experiences beyond their everyday lives, helping them build the knowledge and understanding they will carry with them into school and beyond. It also encourages children to become confident learners who ask questions, solve problems, persevere, and take pride in their achievements.
Through this project, the children haven't simply learned about fruit and vegetables—they have experienced the entire process first-hand. These memorable experiences create meaningful learning that supports the EYFS, particularly Understanding the World, Communication and Language, and Personal, Social and Emotional Development, while fostering a lifelong appreciation for healthy eating, sustainability, and the natural world.

✨ Playing together makes everything a little brighter. ☀️💛
This week, our little learners have been making wonderful memories through play, laughter, and friendship. From sharing smiles to helping one another, we've seen how playing together builds confidence, kindness, and happy hearts.
Every game, every giggle, and every shared adventure reminds us that the best moments are the ones we enjoy together.
Here's to celebrating friendship, teamwork, and all the magical moments that make childhood so special. 🌈🧸

"The sweetest strawberries are the ones we've grown together."
This beautiful journey has been filled with curiosity, care, and discovery. The children planted, watered, observed, and wondered as they watched tiny flowers transform into delicious, juicy strawberries. Every stage sparked new questions, encouraged careful observation, and deepened their understanding of how living things grow. Finally, the moment arrived to pick and taste the fruit they had nurtured themselves. There were smiles all around as the children discovered that "The sweetest strawberries are the ones we've grown together." Growing our own food has helped us build a meaningful connection with nature, celebrate the rewards of patience and teamwork, and experience the joy of learning through real-life, hands-on exploration. 🍓🌿
