🌿 Splash. Smile. Shine.

After a few weeks of settling in, it’s so lovely to see those beautiful smiles shining through! 🥰

We love watching the children grow in confidence, begin to explore more independently and really make the most of their nursery environment. There’s something extra special about seeing them head outdoors, follow their curiosity, get stuck into their play and simply enjoy being little. 🌱

Water to splash in, spaces to explore, friendships growing and lots of happy little moments along the way.

Most of all, we just love seeing those smiles a lovely sign that they’re feeling happy, comfortable and ready to explore. ✨

Here’s to lots more splashing, exploring and smiling! 🌿

Remembering our lovely Lynne 🌿❤️

A year ago today, we lost a very special member of our Early Learning Camp family.
Lynne was so much more than a Forest School teacher. She brought the outdoors to life for our children, teaching them to notice the little things, to explore, get muddy, ask questions and, most importantly, to love and care for the natural world around them. 🍃🐞🌳

Her warmth, kindness and passion touched so many children, parents and colleagues over the years. We feel incredibly lucky to have shared so many wonderful memories with her.
Today, we remember Lynne with so much love. Her legacy lives on in our Forest School, in the children she inspired and in every little adventure in nature. 🌻

Forever loved, forever missed, and forever part of our Early Learning Camp family. ❤️🌿

🌿 Scoop, Stir, Discover 🌿

A mud kitchen is so much more than a place to get messy it’s a place for discovery. 🤎

In the Early Years, some of the most meaningful learning happens when children are free to explore, experiment and follow their natural curiosity. In the mud kitchen, a simple pot, spoon and handful of natural materials can open up a whole world of possibilities.

As children scoop, pour, stir, mix and create, they’re developing fine motor skills, exploring different textures and quantities, solving problems and beginning to understand cause and effect. They’re also using their imaginations as they transform everyday materials into soups, potions, cakes and wonderful new creations.

There doesn’t always need to be a finished product or a “right” way to play. Sometimes, the magic is simply in wondering, trying and discovering what happens next.

That’s the beauty of mud kitchen play little hands getting messy while little minds are busy learning. 🌱✨
