HOT WEATHER ARRANGEMENTS 🔥
I'd like to reassure you about the arrangements we have in place. Our award-winning school building is fully air-conditioned and is maintained at approximately 21°C throughout the year, which means it is considerably cooler inside than many other schools and most homes during a hot spell.
We have also relaxed our uniform expectations for the warmer weather. Pupils may:
-wear knee length tailored shorts;
-remove their blazer during the school day.
In addition, we have strongly advised pupils not to wear sweaters during this period, so that they stay as cool and comfortable as possible.
Pupils are able to refill water bottles at designated times and have regular access to water throughout the day.
Given these arrangements, we do expect pupils to attend as normal. Please note that any absence during this period would be recorded as unauthorised, as the school remains a safe and comfortable environment for learning.
We will continue to monitor conditions closely and make further adjustments if needed, while maintaining the uniform standards that support a calm and purposeful learning environment.
