A huge well done a group of our year 8 students out to compete in a prestigious event, The Big Health Quiz, at University of Birmingham.
They came 4th which is spectacular considering they competed against some of the city's independent and grammar schools. Thank you to Mr. Bagshaw and Mrs. Jones for taking the students!

Tuesday marked the end of five years of education and the official final day for Year 11.
Over the last five years, you have not only survived—you have flourished. Together, you have created unforgettable memories and become an amazing group of young people who have supported one another through challenges and celebrated successes together.
You did yourselves proud during your examinations, showing resilience, determination and maturity every step of the way. We could not be prouder of everything you have achieved.
As you move on to the next chapter of your journey, we wish you every success and happiness in the future. Keep working hard, dream big, and always believe in yourselves.
To those who are moving on, you will be greatly missed. To those returning to Sixth Form, we look forward to welcoming you back and seeing all that you achieve in the years ahead.
Thank you for being such a special year group. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you.
Good luck, Year 11 – your future starts now.

Our Year 9 and 10 girls have been getting a taste for some golf in their core lessons this week! To boost the number of female players, we have been doing some work with North Warwickshire Golf club with the view of attracting some interest and boosting their young female team. They have been lucky enough to receive some expert advice from Jamie, a pro golfer from the club and the taster session has gone down well.
As a result of these taster sessions, we now have a golf club running on a Thursday lunchtime in school for all those students who wish to give it a go with the hope of getting down to the Warwickshire Golf club in the near future to try out their driving nets and putting greens.

The last full day of our Year 8 Spanish trip was spent visiting the local Spanish school. The students received a very warm welcome from the hosts putting on a traditional Flamenco dance for them. They even taught some of the girls some of the moves.
The day ended with some pool time and a walk along the promenade.
Mrs. Lane said "It’s been a fantastic week for our Year 8 students sampling Spanish culture! Homeward bound for the students today!"
