A huge congratulations to our 39 Year 10 students who recently completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Expedition.
Throughout the expedition, our students were an absolute credit to the school and an absolute delight to accompany. They demonstrated outstanding resilience, teamwork, independence and determination, tackling every challenge with a positive attitude while putting months of preparation into practice. It was fantastic to see their navigation, problem-solving and teamwork skills shine throughout the expedition.
Since the beginning of the year, students have worked incredibly hard towards their Bronze Award, completing their Volunteering, Physical and Skills sections alongside preparing for the expedition. Completing the expedition is a fantastic achievement and marks a significant milestone in their DofE journey.
The final step is now for students to ensure their remaining sections are fully completed and signed off on their DofE account so they can officially achieve their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
Well done to all 39 students—you represented the school brilliantly, and we are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved!
A big thank you to all the staff who supported and gave up their time as without you we would not be able to these excellent opportunities for our students 💚

🎳🔫 Year 7 End of Year Reward Trip! 🔫🎳
What a fantastic way to celebrate a brilliant year! 🌟 Our Year 7 students had an amazing time on their end-of-year reward trip to Tenpin, where they put their skills to the test on the bowling lanes before taking on their friends in an action-packed game of laser tag! 🏆🎯
There were plenty of strikes, lots of laughter, and some healthy competition throughout the day. Most importantly, our students demonstrated excellent behaviour, teamwork, and sportsmanship, making us incredibly proud. 👏😊
A huge well done to all the students who earned this reward through their hard work, positive attitude, and commitment throughout the year. You have been a credit to the school, and we hope you enjoyed celebrating your achievements with your friends! 🎉

🎶🌍 Celebrating Cultural Diversity Day! 🌍🎶
What a fantastic day we had celebrating the rich cultures, traditions and experiences that make our community so special.
Our Cultural Diversity Day gave everyone the opportunity to appreciate the unique backgrounds that we all bring. A particular highlight was our cultural lunch, where we enjoyed a wonderful variety of foods from around the world, bringing people together through the universal language of food. It was lovely to see students dressed in their cultural dress and incorporating the 2 tone black and white colours as part of their outfits.
The celebrations continued with plenty of music and dancing, including everyone getting involved with the iconic band “Ska Train” – a perfect nod to Coventry’s world-famous 2 Tone and ska heritage. 🎵🚂
Coventry has a proud history of cultural diversity and creativity, from its City of Culture legacy to being the birthplace of the 2 Tone movement, which promoted unity and inclusion through music. Students have thoroughly enjoyed learning about the history of two tone and how it shaped Coventry culture.

Bollywood Dance Club
Although our Bollywood Dance Club was unable to perform live in front of the school this year, the students still had the opportunity to showcase their hard work through a recorded performance.
Over the past few months, the students have demonstrated outstanding commitment, enthusiasm, and dedication to learning and perfecting their routine. Their final performance was full of energy, confidence, and teamwork, and they should be incredibly proud of what they achieved.
A special thank you goes to Leah, Kevah, Leila Grace and Nicole for their impeccable commitment and dedication throughout the project. Their willingness to attend rehearsals, support one another, and continuously strive for improvement made the performance a great success! ✨💚
