For years, I thought I knew myself, but I was just adapting to fit in and be seen as worthy. It turns out I was looking outside myself for answers because I felt 'not enough.' Switching mentors felt like another version of the same game.
Questioning your path? You might not be lost, but evolving between identities. This realization comes after a shift from traditional faith to deep meditation practices, uncovering a journey of self-discovery.

I'm not a political person, and I deliberately don't spend much time following politics.
But when I hear we've had seven Prime Ministers in ten years, I can't help but think of a quote from Steve Jobs:
"You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards."
Looking backwards, something doesn't seem right.
If a football club had seven managers in ten years, we wouldn't just question the managers. We'd start looking at the owners, the culture, the system, and the structure behind it all.
At some point, when leadership changes this often, surely the conversation has to move beyond the individual in the role and towards the environment they're operating in.
I'm not saying I know the answer.
But from the outside looking in, seven leaders in ten years feels less like a leadership problem and more like a systems problem.
What do you think?

What if the life you're working so hard to create is the life that's already sitting right in front of you?
It's Saturday morning.
I'm finally home after four days away speaking.
I'm sat playing cars with Zen, changing his nappy, listening to Sage talk about her dolls, reading my morning mental rehearsal with a breathwork video on in the background.
And I can feel my old self tugging at me.
"Go on the bike."
"Go for a jog."
"Get to Hyrox at 8am."
It's not really a thought.
It's more like a rush.
An urgency.
And for years, I would have listened.
Because so much of my life has been about optimising, pushing, proving and forcing.
Not from a bad place.
But from a place that always felt like I had to earn my rest.
Earn my peace.
Earn my worth.
This week, being away from the kids, I missed them deeply.
And sitting there this morning, I realised something.
The most productive thing I could do wasn't another workout.
It was staying right where I was.
Playing cars.
Changing nappies.
Listening to stories about dolls.
Breathing.
Being present.
Being Dad.
And honestly, that's new for me.
One thing I've noticed recently is that since I've been listening to Dr Joe's Reconditioning the Body to a New Mind meditation first thing every morning, I'm finding it easier to feel the emotions of the person I'm becoming.
I've tried lots of different meditations.
But this one seems to help me move from thinking to feeling.
And maybe that's the point.
Because I'm beginning to see that healing isn't always about doing more.
Sometimes it's about teaching your body that it's safe to stop.
Safe to rest.
Safe to be still.
Safe to enjoy what you've worked so hard for.
Twenty years from now, I doubt I'll wish I'd squeezed in another session.
But I know I'll be grateful for Saturday mornings with my children.
Maybe the hardest workout for some of us isn't another run, another lift, or another challenge.
Maybe it's resisting the addiction to urgency.
Maybe it's learning that we don't have to earn peace.
And maybe...
Just maybe...
The version of ourselves we're trying so hard to become isn't asking us to push harder.
Maybe he's simply asking us to slow down enough to enjoy the life we've already be
That thing you're afraid to start? What if it becomes the very thing that changes your life? Success without fulfillment is the ultimate failure. Take that first step.
For years, comparison fueled feelings of unworthiness. But what if it's not a weakness, but a clue? A hint towards what you're meant to do differently. If you change how you see things, they change.
