Our lovely AKADEMY family, the time has finally come for us to switch off and enjoy a little sunshine in Spain! 🌴☀️

We just want to say a huge thank you to every single one of you for all your hard work, dedication and energy throughout the summer. We truly couldn’t do it without you!

It has also been such a pleasure welcoming all of our new starters into the AKADEMY family. We’ve loved getting to know you and seeing you settle in — we’re so excited for everything that’s to come! 🥰

A little glimpse into our AKADEMY adult classes 🖤

Every week we drill technique, then take it somewhere new with a short snip of Choreography, a different vibe each week.

Some weeks are sharp and dynamic, others are softer, slower and more grounded. We love switching it up and giving everyone the chance to explore movement outside their comfort zone.

No two weeks feel the same, and that’s exactly how we like it.

Can’t even begin to explain how proud we are of our beautiful solo dancer, Lily-Rae! 🥹❤️ Watching you take to the stage and perform your solo with so much confidence, passion and grace was truly special.

And it’s not just on stage — the way you conduct yourself in class is unbelievable. Your dedication, kindness, focus and attitude make you an absolute joy to teach, and you’re such a wonderful example to those around you. 🥰

You should be incredibly proud of yourself, Lily-Rae. You absolutely shone! We couldn’t be prouder! ❤️

FALLING | CHAPTER 5

A beautiful, mature and understated piece from our Inters. 🤍
Falling was all about simplicity, control and letting the movement speak for itself.

Our dancers performed this with such confidence and maturity, executing every detail beautifully and making the choreography look effortless.

Our last photo together was 4 years ago… and look how far we’ve come since then.

Built on passion, driven by purpose, and brought to life by two people who believed it was possible.

Four years later, the vision is stronger, the journey is bigger, and we’re only just getting started ♾️

STAY❤️

A little darker. A little different. Completely original.

A development of I Found from Chapter 1, STAY took that original AKADEMY concept and pushed it somewhere new — using cloths and Contemporary choreography to create a piece that feels raw, intense and completely our own.

An incredibly demanding routine that required control, precision, trust and total commitment — and our Adult Contemporary dancers executed it brilliantly.

We are SO proud of the way they performed this piece. The intensity, focus and energy they brought to the stage made every moment hit.
From Chapter 1 to Chapter 5 — we love seeing how our ideas, dancers and choreography continue to evolve. 🖤

Some beautiful ‘Toes to Head’ practise with our little Minis.

Flexibility takes practice.
You won’t see huge changes overnight, but regular, consistent practice makes a difference.

A few minutes of stretching regularly can help improve your range of movement, support your technique and make certain movements feel more comfortable.

Don’t force it. Don’t rush it. Just keep working on it. 🩰

“You’ve Got a Friend in Me” — Chapter 5❤️

One of the most special moments of our show has to be our beautiful AKADEMY Tots & Parents dance.

Watching our tiniest dancers take to the stage alongside their Mummas, Daddys, Aunties, Uncles and Grandads was simply unforgettable. There was something so incredibly special about seeing these precious little dancers share the stage with the people they love most.

Our Tots & Parents class is something we are SO proud of. AKADEMY was the first dance school in Coventry to launch a class like this, creating a space where our youngest dancers can experience the magic of dance alongside their grown-ups from the very beginning.

And every single show, this class becomes one of our absolute highlights. From those first little steps in the studio to confidently stepping onto a theatre stage together — we love watching these memories being made.

“You’ve Got a Friend in Me” was the perfect choice for such a beautiful moment, and we couldn’t be prouder of every single Tot and grown-up who took part.

Here’s to creating memories, building confidence and sharing the magic of dance together from the very beginning.

Our seniors brought the energy, the smiles, and the best vibes to the stage. Every clap, every step, and every smile made this one to remember. Watching everyone come together, dancing with confidence and joy, was simply incredible. 💃✨

Safe to say they absolutely smashed it—we’re still smiling! ❤️
