Woodside Preschool

Don’t forget to bring in your toothbrush charts this week to get a certificate! This weeks focus will be The Three little pigs.
We have Bilingualsing on Monday and Group C has their forest school on Tuesday. In the little room we are looking at Shapes and the number 4. And finally Casey has now been with us now for 3 weeks and is a huge hit with the children and has fitted right in with the Woodside team! ❤️See you all tomorrow!

We are having trouble with the heating this morning hopefully we will be sorted very soon but an extra layer would be good!

Woodside Preschool is open today if you need us. Please be very careful in the car park as very slushy.

Breakfast club is cancelled tomorrow to allow staff extra time to get to work safely - sorry for any disruption this causes. I will update any changes if necessary in the morning. For those of you who don’t do Fridays have a very fun and happy snow day!

The staff are busy training and making sure we are ready to welcome back all of our lovely families tomorrow!

Please remember the children will be returning on Tuesday 6th January. Staff will be having a teacher training day and completing home visits on Monday.

Woodside Preschool will no longer be taking part in the carol service at the church. Hoping a clean break will stop the spread of this horrible bug - hope all of our poorly children are all back to normal in time for Christmas 😅

And the the first term is done as quickly as that! Thankyou so much to all our lovely families for the cards, chocolates and gifts we are all very spoiled!
On another note thankyou for being patient with me this term muddling through and finding my feet. Woodside really is the best place to work.

Sorry everyone but due to staffing, weather and illness and the fact that we sound like a doctors waiting room today we have decided to postpone group Cs Stivichall group tomorrow until after Christmas. I will have the replacement date for you in the new year.
