To start the week off strong we have our usual all levels salsa classes, 7-9pm! Immediately after we have social dance 9-10:30pm, while also an optional Rueda class (9-9:30pm) additionally takes place too! 💃

Wednesday we have one HUUUGGGGEEEE social ready for you all! The last Salsa Circle of the term, and also of the current exec! Come and join us for this chaotic circle themed "Hungover Wedding". Come in something that would ordinarily be absolutely insane to bring to a wedding, and let's circle the night away! Olé! 🍻

To finish the week off right, we have our all levels bachata class! This is from 6-8:00pm, with social dance afterwards from 8-9:30pm! We may even be going tbar for that good ol' post-bachata fun 🕺

MLT&S - Milkshakes, Laser Tag & Spoons 🥳‼️

This Thursday at 7pm we'll be going to Laser Quest in Coventry for two games of laser tag ⚡️🔫, and then we’ll be heading to Spoons 🥄🍻 for an evening of drinks and good company! We’ll grab some milkshakes along the way if people are up for it too 😊🥤

Warwick Salsa Exec Elections are coming up!❤️💃🕺

Want to help shape next year of Warwick Salsa? This is your moment 🌟

Our Exec Elections are taking place on Thursday 12th March, and we’re looking for people who love the society and want to help make classes, socials, performances and events even better next year.

Whether you’re interested in leading the society, organising socials, supporting performances, or getting creative with marketing, there are loads of ways to get involved 🌶️✨

How it works:

- Role-specific posts are coming soon (so you can learn what each role involves)
- You can apply for up to 2 roles and rank your preference
- Applications open on 26th February (via the form which will become available when applications are open)
- Nomination deadline: 5th March
- You’ll need to prepare a short speech about why you’re suited to the role and why people should vote for you (max 1 min 30 sec, 3 mins for Presidents)
- Speeches will be given at the elections on 12th March🎤

If you have any questions about role specific responsibilities, do not hesitate to contact any of us to get help or more information!

We are back on Monday with our usual all levels salsa classes! Also returning is our wonderful president Banke's Rueda workshop! 💃

On Thursday we have this week's social! A bizzare combination of milkshakes, lazer tag, and spoons! Join us at 7pm in Coventry Lazer Quest, which will be followed by getting a milkshake before heading on to weatherspoons! 🍻 Sign up using link in bio!

Monday we have our usual all levels salsa class. THIS IS IN MILBURN HOUSE THIS WEEK! Furthermore, Banke's Rueda class is back after class! So be sure not to miss it! 💃

On Thursday we have a more chill social of a campus treasure hunt! 🔍 Find clues, and win a prize! The first clue drops at 4:30pm, Piazza, so be there or be 🟦!

There is NO bachata this week, as we prepare for our visit to 's DCL Ball on Saturday! If you do not have a ticket, these can still be purchased from 's bio! 🕺💃 - Also, our performance teams will be performing so please come, cheer us on, and enjoy the event! 🎉

Latin Night: Amor Prohibido ❤️

Schedule:
- 7:30pm: doors open! There will be music and time to relax and socialise before...
- 8:00pm: First class! This will be Merengue (with .community.builder), simultaneously to a Bachata class (with Oli)! 🕺
- 9:00pm: Second class! This will be Pachanga (with ), simultaneously to a Salsa class (with Ahmed)! 💃
- 10:00pm: Live music! Social dance to the music of the amazing 🎵
- 11:00pm: Performances! This will be from our award winning intermediate salsa, bachata, and beginners salsa teams! Along with a very special guest performance... 👀
- 11:30pm-2am: Social dance + social dance competition! Nothing but amazing music from our guest DJs, along with our signature social dance bachata&salsa competitions! 🕺💃

Join us in OC0.05 between 7:30 and 10pm for a night of... Just dance! This will be free, so just turn up!

Friday we are back with our usual all levels bachata classes, 6-8pm, followed by social dance after! 🕺 After bachata, we are heading to Leamington Spa for a relaxed weatherspoons social to prepare for the following day... 🍻

💃AWARDS MEAL🕺

Join Warwick Salsa as we celebrate an incredible year filled with memories, bar crawls, circles, double turns, cross bodys and much more in the stunning Kenilworth Suite at Chesford Grange Hotel. 🎉 This special evening is our chance to say goodbye to the outgoing executive team, welcome the new exec, and recognize the achievements of our amazing members. ❤️

This event includes a delicious three-course meal, drinks, speeches by your favourite exec members, and of course, some very special awards 🏆. As always with Warwick Salsa, the evening will conclude with some social dancing to show off the exceptional salsa (and bachata) skills you've learnt this year! 💃🕺
