Interesting young lad in “pets at home” on Gallagher retail park . I popped in to buy some fish for my very large tank. A very disrespectful young lad served me. He wanted a photo of my tank before he’d sell me some fish. He also wanted to know how big my tank was . Did not believe me . Refused to sell fish to me. Told me “ I’m not going to loose my job over selling fish to you “ Apparently the welfare of fish was in law for two years now!! I have been a customer here for years but never got refused or told to produce evidence I had a very large tank!!! No worries I bought elsewhere , much better attitude .

what constitutes inclusive early education and how this is culturally located
which children are excluded, how does this happen and how this might be changed
how exclusionary policies and practices can be challenged and new practices developed to ensure each child’s needs are considered so that all learners participate and achieve together
how inclusion might work in different cultures and communities and with regard to children with different characteristics
understandings of the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of exclusion and inclusion in its broadest sense
what possibilities do we have to embed inclusive policies and practices within all early education systems and settings?
