Bablake Junior School is an independent day school for boys and girls aged 3-11.

Bablake Junior School is often described as a "happy and friendly" school and as parents little is more important to us than our children's happiness. We share your high hopes and expectations and it is a joy to see how hard everyone works here and the success that comes from this. Our pupils have been revisiting and renewing skills, building confidence and diving head-first into brand new experiences.

The highlight? Our fast and furious ink and wax drawings brought colour, courage and curiosity into the classroom - a brilliant celebration of experimentation as we explore and grow together! 🖌️ 💛

🌿 A little look back at our final day of term.

A day filled with team challenges, Forest School, swimming, time with friends and a wonderful performance of Fantastic Mr Fox.

Calm, purposeful and joyful. Just as importantly, it reflected something we value deeply at Bablake: creating experiences that support our pupil's wellbeing, connection and sense of belonging every day. 💙

🎨🌻 Outdoor Art Club – A Summer of Creativity! 🌻🎨

Our Year 3–6 Outdoor Art Club has enjoyed a wonderful summer term immersed in creativity and nature. From painting beautiful bluebell watercolours inspired by our school spinney, to crafting tree mobiles, clay flower watering ornaments for bees and insects, and vibrant sunflower oil pastel artwork, every session was filled with imagination, colour and fun.

With music playing as they worked, the children created an incredible collection of artwork and were delighted to take their masterpieces home at the end of term. We are so proud of their enthusiasm, creativity and artistic flair!

🏅☀️ What a Sports Day! ☀️🏅

The electric atmosphere around the field was simply incredible! From obstacle courses, egg and spoon races, sack races and sprints to circle relays, team relays and a huge range of field events, every pupil embraced the day with determination, teamwork and sportsmanship.

There were impressive performances in the standing jump, triple jump, javelin and the ever-popular welly wanging, but what made the day truly special was seeing every child involved, encouraging one another and contributing to their team’s success.

And to top it all off, our toddler race provided the perfect grand finale, delighting competitors and spectators alike!

A huge well done to all our pupils and thank you to staff, families and supporters who helped make the day such a memorable occasion.

🎭✨ What a fantastic afternoon at Bablake’s Got Talent 2026 – always one of the highlights of the school year!

Twelve incredible acts took to the stage and performed in front of the whole school, showcasing an amazing range of talent, creativity and confidence. Our judges had the difficult task of selecting a winner from each year group.

🌟 Year 3: A wonderful poetry and ukulele duo
🌟 Year 4: An original song celebrating friendship
🌟 Year 5: A drummer extraordinaire who wowed the audience
🌟 Year 6: A beautiful solo performance of Part of Your World

Congratulations to all of our performers for their courage, talent and enthusiasm. We are so proud of every pupil who took part and helped make this such a memorable event! 👏🎶🎤

Bablake Open Morning ☀️

It was a pleasure to welcome so many families to Bablake, showcasing our exceptional 3–18 provision in the heart of Coventry. 🦁

This video shows just a small snippet of the wonderful opportunities on offer. Our fantastic students led tours with confidence, warmth and enthusiasm. They were outstanding ambassadors of our school community and gave visitors a genuine insight into life at Bablake. 💛
