The world of work is difficult to understand and even harder to get involved. This group will be a front for all career based information for Economics.

There will be updates about key events and advice along the way. Student Careers and Skills is located in the Learning Grid, on the ground floor of University House. Help Desk in the Learning Grid is accessed via phone, email or in person to talk through any careers and skills issues. PLEASE NOTE: You need to swipe your University card to enter University House and the Learning Grid.

On Thursday 23rd February, HSBC will be delivering a session focused on the telephone and face-to-face interview stage of the recruitment process. They will explain the nature of these interviews, what HSBC as an employer looks for, and how to excel at competency and values based questions.

Most importantly, you will also have the opportunity to meet current HSBC graduates to ask any questions and gain an insight into working at HSBC.

The Work Experience Bursary 2011 scheme. It gives Warwick students money and help for their unpaid, self-sourced work placements. The 2012 scheme is now open to eligible students who have secured work experience over Christmas 2011, Easter or Summer 2012.
