That's right - voting for the WMG Society Exec committee is now open! You have until 23:59 on Friday 18th November (that's one week from now) to have your say.... what do you want to the future of WMG Society to look like?!

To vote, make sure you are logged into the SU website before navigating the the WMG Society page. From there, if you scroll to the bottom it should be self-explanatory!

Due to unforeseen circumstances our Hybrid Hustings Event tonight HAS BEEN CANCELLED. I will reach out to affected candidates personally but please whether you are a candidate or prospective voter PLEASE DO NOT TURN UP.

Given the hustings event is cancelled, those who have nominated themselves for executive roles are open to begin campaigning however they see fit. You can ask your classmates to vote for you, use our Teams Space, or do some good old-fashIoned canvassing - it really is up to you. THAT SAID, PLEASE ENSURE YOU FOLLOW THE SU CODE OF CONDUCT FOR CAMPAIGNING, WHICH CAN BE FOUND ON THE SU WEBSITE.

Finally, a reminder that the polls for the elections will open tomorrow morning, so it might be worthwhile to get reading the manifestos for the candidates!

Yes, that's right - we're still going on about elections! 😳

For those of you with questions who weren't able to attend the in-person session, we are hosting some digital alternatives on Thursday and Friday of this week, between 1300-1400.

For now, all you need to do is pencil this is your diary... the link will be available in our NEW Teams group going live in the next day or so!

That's right - tonight's the night for our WhatsApp scavenger hunt! From 7-9pm make sure you are in your accommodation a tuned into our WhatsApp chat to receive further instruction!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to unresolved technical issues with the SU, if you want to participate (and get added to the groupchat) you will need to DM us you student ID number, name, and phone number! ✅✅✅ BY 7PM!

That's right, there is only one more day until our WhatsApp scavenger hunt tomorrow! Have you put us in your diary (19:00 - 21:00 GMT)?

Due to admin issues at the SU, we still don't have our WhatsApp group set up, but our president, Lauren, will be going into the office to sort that out today. So, keep an eye out on Microsoft Teams tomorrow!
