Did you know it’s European Languages Day next week: Saturday 26th September? 🇪🇺

To celebrate and to help spread the love of languages to our little leaners, I am offering local nurseries* and schools* a FREE 30 minute music & European language session to help introduce their children to a new European language on or around that date
*subject to availability between 21st September and 2nd October

During our session we will:

🇪🇸 meet and greet each other
🇮🇹 learn key words and phrases
🎵 sing catchy songs to reinforce learning
💃🏽 include movement / dancing & engaging props

Forest Friends Day Nursery was wonderful for our daughter. After a difficult experience at her previous nursery, she struggled to settle, but the team at Forest Friends supported her with incredible patience, kindness and professionalism. She settled within just one week and became so happy there that she would even ask to go on her days off! Today it’s my anniversary ❤️

20 years ago it was a warm and sunny day; I loved my dress and the look was completed with silver sparkly shoes and a tiara.

Today I’ve been in some nurseries dancing around in my blue tshirt! I am, however, wearing my wedding jewellery and also socks with hearts on (always a novelty sock!). Maybe I should’ve worn my tiara too?

My hair was longer back then and I’ve been trying to grow it again this year for the first time since the wedding. I’m very pleased to have had some compliments the past few days about my hair which seems to have grown a lot over the summer. Whether it’s still growing at Christmas remains to be seen…

It’s been great to be back in class over the past week or so. After tomorrow I will have seen every class at least once since the summer holidays, including our new nursery settings which are starting this term.

There’s lots happening in the autumn. If you’d like to bring your baby/ toddler to the Spanish family class on Fridays, or you think your child’s nursery or school might like to have BilinguaSing sessions in their settings then drop me a message 💙

Well, the summer holidays are over and the longest hottest summer seems to be too! 🌞

I hope that everyone has had a great time over the summer and is ready for a fun autumn term 🍁

Last week we were in Cornwall and luckily escaped the storms and heavy rainfall that drenched the midlands. (Except for overnight and a short spell hiding in the tent on the beach during some light rain!)

After a short rainy spell whilst we packed our cases, I spotted a lovely big rainbow visible from our caravan. It made me think of a new version of the BilinguaSing rainbow song; if you’ve been in one of my classes you might be able to sing along:

The summer may almost be over, but it’s just one week until the mixed family Spanish sessions restart!

Full of music, catchy songs, colourful (and sometimes noisy!) props and plenty of bubbles.

No need to be able to speak Spanish to attend. We sing the songs in English too and many are familiar nursery rhymes.

🍅 Did you know that 'La Tomatina' is an outdoor food fight festival held in Buñol near Valencia in Spain. It’s happening today between 12 & 1pm 🍅

Up to 20,000 people (!) fill the streets and enjoy a day of hurling tomatoes at each other - madness!

Laura talked to her school clubs about Spanish festivals at the end of the summer term and they were fascinated by the idea of this one!
