Our Explorers loved getting stuck in, sharing tools, exploring some amazing textures and discovering new colours 🎨🌈

Paintbrushes, colours and lots of creative freedom as Our Discoverers explored colour mixing and let their imaginations run wild 🎨

Our Explorers have been learning all about self hygiene… by giving the dinosaurs a good scrub! 🪥🦕

Using toothbrushes dipped in shaving foam, the children held their dinosaurs steady with one hand whilst scrubbing away with the other - showing brilliant control and coordination throughout! 🌟

And when it came to the biggest dinosaur of them all? The children came together and helped each other get the job done! 🦖

Our Investigators have been exploring size and weight with our loose parts ⚖️ The children made their very own scales and explored whether the loose parts would travel down the channelling station or hold firm 🤔

Welcome to Our Discoverers Car Wash 🚗

Using foam, sponges, pipettes, brushes and water, the children got busy scrubbing, rinsing and squeezing their way through their senses 🫧

As the cars made their way through the block tunnel and out the other side sparkling clean, there was brilliant positional language being used throughout - and those little hands were working so hard 💪

Our Explorers have been working hard on their gross motor skills - scooping and separating pom poms and googly eyes using a range of different sized spoons and bowls 🥄

The hand-eye coordination and focus on show was brilliant, with the children filling and emptying with such determination 💪

And some of our little ones took it even further - sorting the pom poms by colour and the googly eyes by size completely off their own initiative 🌈👀

Our Teddy Bears Came to Nursery! 🧸

Our Discoverer's had a wonderful time celebrating National Teddy Bears' Picnic Day by bringing their favourite teddy bears into nursery 🧺

At snack time, everyone sat together in a circle with their cuddly friends and enjoyed rice cakes and raisins. It was lovely to see some of the children sharing their snacks with their teddy bears, showing fantastic sharing skills and lots of kindness.

The children had so much fun introducing their teddies to their friends and enjoying a very special picnic together. It was a lovely day filled with smiles, imagination and lots of cuddly companions 💛
