🏔DYM 2026🏔

Group C took on the challenge if Mountain and Mine today.

They hiked through a forest, up a mountain and into a mine. 🌳

Inside the mine they explore the caves and discovered what it's like to be in real darkness! ⚫️⛏️

They all showed excellent courage and bravery 🙌 well done Group C! ✨️

Group took on the challenge of Water and Rock today.

They started the day with a hike up to the kayak lake. They worked brilliantly as as a team and were all brave enough to take on the Dol y Moch dive!! 🛶

In the afternoon they travelled to the beach to tackle rock scrambling. They also became expert stone skimmers!🪨

They were all amazing and took on every challenge set for them. ✨️

Group A dove into day 2 to do Rock and Water.

They went to the beach to scramble across the rocks. 🪨

Then after lunch they headed up to the lake to kayak.🛶

They all had an amazing day taking in new challenges! ✨️

Group C have had a great first day with Mrs Thompson.

They started their adventure on the kayak lake where they crushed all of the challenges they were set 🛶.

They embraced the chill and did the Dol y Moch dive

After lunch they headed to the beach to scramble across the rocks 🪨

Group C can't wait to dive into their next adventure tomorrow ✨️

Groups A and B have had an amazing first at DYM.

They began the day orienteering around the center working brilliantly in teams 📍🗺

They then headead to explore the beach where they found amazing creatures in the rock pools. 🦀🦐

The sun was shining so everyone had to enjoy a delicious ice cream. ☀️🍦

They ended the day on an independent walk through the forest working in teams to get to check points. 🗺🥾

They can't wait for another day if excitement and adventure tomorrow. ✨️

Our Year 6 children have arrived safely at Dol y Moch and are enjoying dinner before heading to bed after a long day travelling
